I have one question for you: Do you listen to any kind of music? If so which musicians?

Smoked weed a few times, and did acid once on my 16th birthday. The acid was just like laughing gas to me. Uncontrollable laughter at every little thing. It was pretty cool.

Given the right conditions, I would consider trying heroin once since it's supposed to be the "ultimate feeling."

Just about everyone in the music industry are dumbasses under your wonderful theory.

    -----------------

Heroin is one dangerous drug. If you even think of trying it you are insane...

And I agree with you. Just because I like someones music does not mean the musician is not a dumbass.

I have no problem with somebody taking in drugs as long as it affects them and only them. The instant somebody's escape affects someone else, I have a HUGE problem with it.

edited... I didn't read all the posts on this page before I added mine.. FT - I'm very sorry to hear that happened to you.

I personally think Recreational Chemistry is fine as long as you don't put yourself in situations that can cause harm to others... If you're not responsible enough to know that drugs alter your brain and your perception than you have no business partaking, imo...

I agree with you FT, and I'm sure NYK would too if the two of you weren't so passionate about your not-so-differing points of view. But arguing back and forth won't accomplish anything when you're as heated as y'all are. Debating is cool. But I wanna see a :) in your next post to make sure you're not getiing pissed over something we can all agree on, okay?

    :)

edit: that was post #333 in my new carnation, and I have a 3.33 post per day average. Dtown333 would be proud:D

Quit running in circles. First you call me a waste of space, then you say as long as someone only effects themselves? Make up your mind. What I said is the truth. Don't use my statements and insult me to lead into your sob story.

Weed does kill...usually innocent people. If you choose to live in a fantasy world thinking that pot doesn't harm, do the world a favor and lock yourself in a room while you do it. I know you're saying that pot doesn't harm the user. If the user doesn't care about himself, why should anyone else. Your response to my brother's misfortune illustrates your respect for life, but then how could anybody expect you to respect someone else's life when you don't even respect your own. :)

I realize you have been seriously affected by this event but statements like this are idiotic. Let's say he wasn't on drugs but was, say, middle eastern in race...you'd probably now be saying "Dumbass..., Arab...what's the difference"

Of course, this is from someone who has tried pot before (enough to be called a pothead earlier in my life) yet was never enough of a dumbass to get behind a wheel while on it.

It's not that hard. Your first post was letting everyone know that pot is fine and dandy and can't do any harm to you. Good that you advocate it, but that's beyond affecting only yourself. I'm guessing that's what FT had a problem with.

And calling a family tragedy a sob story only makes you look like a dumbass.

Jeez, people, at least learn to respect each other for God's sake. DallasThomas makes a good point. :)

Please allow me to explain what I meant...I was a little heated when I posted this. I shouldv'e said that anybody that is in no condition to get behind the wheel and does is a dumbass. All races have them. This includes but is not limited to drunks, stoners, and bad drivers in general and only when they get behind the wheel or are in a situation to affect somebody else. Sorry for the confusion.

I was really surprised by the amount of people who haven't done any drugs or tried something once or twice. I was expecting alot more, I guess because where I grew up everyone seemed to be taking something. Its the classic kids/ young adults with to much money and not enough to keep them occupied. Using or not doesn't effect how I feel about people, but I hate to see people get out of control. Far and away alcohol causes the most trouble of any "drug" and of course its legal.

If you want to say pot kills in the wrong hands then go ahead and do it. I said it causes no harm because it doesnt. It causes harm if people do stupid **** while under the influence. Just like driving under the influence of alcohol. Just like lighting a cigarette while driving. Just like changing a CD while driving. I didn't say go ahead and drive while you are under the influence. So that comment he made to me was completely unnecessary IMO. Also, if people aren't respectful to me, I have no ****in reason to be respectful to them.

P.S. If you think pot made me make that mistake then you are the dumbass.
