Have you ever competed against professional athletes in their sport?

    oh yeah in addition i played basketball with former rockets tracy murray and casey jacobsen as well. murray at the nearby LA Fitness and casey and I played one on one a twice in high school and ran a few casual pick up games after school and all in the gym.

    so does it count that I played a lot with my coach who was ranked 25th in the US. I think he let up on me, though. That probably doesn't count as "competed" against. He was being paid to let me ace him, i guess.

    Pam Shriver in an exhibition...does that count?

    Cool, I actually played bball with JLIII a few times at Westside. He was still in high school at the time. I used to go to the gym over there.

    John Lucas senior is a very good tennis player. He had a scholarship to play tennis at college, but he played both tennis and basketball at Univ. of Maryland.

    The real gem at Westside was coach John Wilkerson. He is one of tennis' all time great coaches.

    When I was 6, the summer after we won our 1994 championship, I was in a co-ed 3-on-3 basketball league in my neighborhood (New Territory), and I played against Vernon Maxwell's daughter. She tore us up. We got his autograph. He doesn't talk much.
