Exactly. It's always a case of grass being greener on CF, Capela is an untouchable because he is projecting to be a star in his own right while meshing extremely well with Harden. Capela is gonna be the Tony Parker to Harden's Duncan, he's an instant impact rookie guy whom you can count on to carry the team later on when Harden is gonna age. I have no problem with having Cousins on the team, but only if we still get to keep Capela. I honestly think A front court of Cousins and Capela wouldn't be so bad, Capela can slide to PF while Cousins will spot up for 3s or we go to him on the post when Harden sits down.
I think Capela could be like a DeAndre Jordan, except he's actually got post moves! Would love to see what this kid can do over the next few years. Let's hope we keep Capela long term. However, if we had a chance at a Boogie KAT, or Embiid or something, I'd pull the the trigger.
I wouldn't pull that trigger. I am sick of star chasing. I would rather let the chemistry and players develop. Imagine warriors trading Klay/Dray for Wiggins or Love in 2013/14 or God forbid for Dwight. BTW One thing that I note and like about Capela post moves is he doesn't have a great variety of them but he doesn't do them mechanically like Dwight. His moves are rather more instinctive and contextual. He doesn't do a move for the sake of move like Dwight but he applies it to get advantage over defender.
That would be great obviously, but i think the Kings would ask Clint in any possible trade talk with them for Boogie...
They might take Dirk 2.0 aka Ryan Anderson. They have a glut of Cs and Anderson is the perfect stretch 4 to complement their big men, the legendary spacing he provides makes everyone around him better. He doesn't even need to rebound or actually shoot the ball, his mere presence on the court makes everyone else so much better at what they do, just check out his +/- on the Rockets.
