Wanted to cry as a kid: 1. Moses Malone, my favorite player at the time, losing to the annoying, star-studded and nasty Celtics in the finals. Yes, I still remember this. 2. Akeem losing to the darn even-more star studded and still nasty Celtics who had just enough tricks up their sleeves, once again in the Finals Absolutely miserable: Stockton's jumper to knock out Hakeem in his later years.
Never. I quickly get over stuff. I may be mad right after a loss, but I'll accept it almost immediately and just say "oh well".
Er... no. Throw crap at the TV, yes. Yell at the TV, yes. Shut off the TV in disgust and leave the room, yes. But why would I cry over a child's game?
I'm pretty sure I will cry when the astros, texans, or rockets win a title. I was born 6 months after the second Rox title.
I'm a stereotypically emotional girl, so yeah. Last time was when we got knocked out of the playoffs last season. I will admit that my friends basically had to drag me out of Toyota Center lol.
One of the greatest Championship games ever! Funny Yet you throw things, get disgusted, and yell at inanimate objects.
Can't say I've cried throughout the years watching any of the local teams, but it's extremely frustrating how nothing seems to go right at times. The years when Yao and T-Mac were constantly in-and-out of the line-up and Yao's stress fracture were definitely the pinnacle of depression for me as a sports fan.
When Yao got injured during that Lakers playoffs match up when he went to the tunnel and i remember Keith Jones there with him and he was trying to come back, in my heart i knew he done then my eyes got all watery
The Astros made me cry. I felt in 86 they truly had the best team. I wept. And dad consoled me. No tears, but the Oilers frustrated me to no end, because with Moon we also had the best team for many years in my mind. The only frustrating moment I recall with the Rockets was seeing the Knicks take a 3-2 lead in the Finals. We were a much better team than the knicks and proved it in the end, but never should have been that close.
Only twice 1. Losing to the Stockton 3 in the 97 conference finals 2. Losing game 7 in the 2007 playoffs to the Jazz Those are the losses that still stick to me...everything else I have gotten over lol the losses hit me really hard
My favorite teams in N.F.L. ,M.L.B. and N.B.A. have always been Houston teams. So I have had plenty of chances to cry but never have but I did get misty eyed when the Astros made the world series. I went to game 4 when the Rockets swept the Magic and was thrilled so much I thought I was going to cry but it was tears of joy technically. I was happy when the Rockets made the finals the first time against the Celtics and thought for sure we were a dynasty in the making when we met the Celtics the next time. I am old enough to witness all of the misfortune the Oilers had trying to get to the super bowl. If I didn't cry during the Oiler years then I must have had a pretty thick skin. I got plenty mad and I hate the Steelers and the Cowboys with a passion. BTW....just an F.Y.I. about instant replay in the N.F.L.. The 1979 playoff game in this link was one of the plays that brought about instant replay. I was 14 at the time watching and was totally pissed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gCFx5jC_q4
