    Couldn't interview Thibs and Brooks because we were in the playoffs

    Walton was scheduled but jumped at the Lakers offer before interviewing elsewhere

    JVG is apparently scheduled

    Not to mention, any coach worth a damn is going to look at the Rockets as a challenge to fix. If they aren't up for it, then do we really want them?

    Thibs, Brooks, and Walton could have all interviewed if they wanted to. Thibs and Brooks weren't interested enough to wait a few days. Walton just wasn't interested.

    The Houston Rockets: where if you get a coaching gig you get at least 4 years to get it right. Yeah, that sounds unappealing to coaches everywhere.

    Literally, on JBB wasn't given a chance at 4 years, and that was more on him than anything. If anything, we don't fire coaches sooner/faster!

    I truly don't know if the Rockets have a good reputation or not... But...

    1) Morey has bragged about taking advantage of other GM's when trading with them.

    2) The GM and President have gotten into a public twitter war that has made them both look very juvenile.

    3) They fired a coach that put a bad taste in a lot of coaches, broadcasters and former players.. (Not saying he was a good coach)

    4) Morey has bragged and been very snugged about him being smarter than other GM's in the league...

    So I can't say the rockets organization has a bad reputation, but it does look like Morey may have one.
