Youth sports is why middle aged people should play video games. You'd think fantasy football would help more.
Youth sports was something that I really looked forward to with my kids. What I've come to learn is that there are polar opposites when it comes to youth sports: 1. The ultra competitive 2. The zero competitive When I grew up, it seemed like it was somewhere in the middle. We practiced, took it seriously, and had fun. We didn't have to go to individual workouts with a former pro but when we played we also learned what it was like to win or lose. For us, youth sports is not fun which sucks.
Those aren't the parents whose kids are actually achieving things; they're too exhausted chauffeuring their kids around at six in the morning everyday for ice time and spending $200/month on private coaching or lessons for dumb crap like this. These people are the Raiders tailgaters and low-rent parents who live their public lives like they're still in high school.
That giant kid who tackled the ref is only 14... I predict he will get a full ride in a few years with either Miami or Texas.
i agree. considering that the kids just sign a contract and they were just protecting their investments.
