My hate for the Jazz and Sonics and Bulls is gone. Replaced by what I feel now is a perfect nemisis. The Mavericks. Couldn't hate on them way back when, except when Derek Harper would go off on us but that hate moved with him to The Knicks. But know they win with a pluthra of players I loath. Dirkgina, pencil kneck Terry, cricket insect looking Howard, and effin Stackhouse who magicaly happens to find his jump shots when he plays us. ...And he beat up Snyder (whem he was a Jazz) for no reason. Couple this with my hate for Dallas (capital of Oklahoma), that whinny neandrathal Cuban, and thier arrogant, pompous, coke sniffiing, $25,000 a year miliionare fans who convienently relagate our 2 championships as being in the 90's, but love championing thier three cocaine and stripper fueled Superbowls as if they happened yesterday. Only the Mavericks hold that special place once occupied by Jazzholes and Sonics. ...and I really can't hate on the Spurs. I mean we beat that a$$ with Hakeem, who I'm sure if he ever set foot within San Antonio would incite a reaction in its obese populace similar to the one Japanese extras get in Godzilla movies.
Hey Pericles... I'm guessing you meant the Mavs have a "plethora" of players who can all hurt us.... (I'm sorry, but I was a Spelling Champ back in middle school and I so rarely get to use that fact in a legitimate way.... again, sorry... ). I agree about hating Dallas, I hate them with a real ferocity!!! I hat Dirk more than most Mavs, but the fact that he's so DAMN GOOD, my hatred is a bit mitigated... But when it comes to Jason Terry, my fury burns for some reason. I keep rooting for Terry to catch and elbow or knee to somewhere that will make him suffer a bit... I think it's the way he wears his headband at an angle and his supreme cockiness, (and I'm sure it's also that he's been able to kill rafer in the games that mattered most). My hatred for Dirk and Terry gain significance ONLY because I also HATE the MAVS, (much like I still HATE the Steelers 'cause I'm a Cowboy fan and wanted to see an all Texas Superbowl and the Steelers ended that chance). When it comes to single players there is no one I hate more than Kobe. And in this instance, it's directly related to how well he plays. Every time I see KOBE highlights for five minutes on ESPN (vs. 15 seconds of Yao/TMac film), I hate these (he's matched only Wilt Chamberlain's record) etc, etc, stories that fuel my hatred of Kobe.... My hatred of Kobe is further aided by my desire to see TMac as a true EQUAL of KOBE. And perhaps four years ago it was true, but now TMac has slipped a half knotch below Kobe in pure shooting ability, and that knowledge that I Kobe is considered a more valuable player than TMAC absolutely kills me!!! Coming a close second to KOBE are Stockton and Malone, and the only team I used to hate as much as the MAVE and JAZZ was the Sonics. Only long time rockets know how the Sonics kept us from moving on the finals two upmore times in the early 90's than we did. They were just a matchup nightmare!!!! And they celebrated wins over us with more gusto than when they beat other teams.... That's mostly it... My respect and hatred of the Spurs almost evens out because I really like so many of their players (with Bowen being the HUGE expection) on the court as well as off.... I've had an insomniatic night and hoping sleep comes soon, so have a good morning to those who are just waking up and see ya later to those who will sleep as late as me....!!
