See that? You complain for NOTHING. :p I don't fill my posts with 6 or 7 smilies in a row, man. Besides, this isn't a GOLF or TENNIS game... those of you complaining have either NEVER gone to a soccer game, or haven't been to a big enough stadium to endure it.

You're here at home sitting on your butt and you complain?

Exactly. And I don't complain like all these people who want it banned... "boo-hoo, my ears hurt! :( I am getting a headache with my surround sound!" Quit ruining the FAN aspect of the game and let South Africa be South Africa from your Satellite or Cable TV views.

 Wow. So many empty seats at the JPN-CMR game. OMG, could it be that the VUVUZELAS are keeping people away?

I wonder if the broadcasting companies could filter the noise out. It's a small range of frequencies in the higher pitches, at least dim the noise.

Better yet, I wonder if you could control these frequencies from your home. If only we had some type of control over the decibel level coming from the TV set

Commentary? Nah, I really couldn't care less about commentary since those ESPN guys are more annoying than the Horns.

I don't support the god awful sound of those horns but I do support the culture of the African nation.

How do Chinese plastic toys qualify as culture of the African nation?

How can anyone on this board ever take this guy seriously? But judging by the reps he must be loved by the BBS. I just don't understand why...

It's a Kudu Horn. Makes a sound just like a vuvuzela and was played centuries ago.

    http://www.channel4.com/news/articl...ct+demands+for+vuvuzela+world+cup+ban/3680427

The South African players are obviously used to the noise and know how to play with it. The other teams need to adapt. Thats the whole point of home court advantage.

Ooooohhh i can't watch the noise is annoying....People need to stop acting like spoilt little b****es and deal with it.

I've been to a hockey game and I mean 1 or 2 vuvuzelas were pretty freaking annoying so I can imagine having hundreds of these going off. I think the real problem is how people abuse using them. I mean if someone behind me was blowing that thing behind my head I would grab that thing and shove it up his @ss. It's that deafening and annoying.
