OMG. Really? You're going to complain about the "vuvuzelas"??

What's next, you're going to outlaw the BATALLóN and the TEXIAN ARMY??

What about the Verde Amarela drums and dancing chicks?

Come now. This ain't your sissy game. Can't stand the noise? Get out of the stadium.

I wouldn't say that they're that bad, but the constant noise is what is really annoying. They don't stop blowing on them... It's the same way with the NBA and teams handing on clappers and such, people don't know when to stop with them.

It was enough for me to demand that there is never, ever another sporting event awarded to South Africa ever again. That thing is so f*ing annoying, I just cannot fathom how the teams have tolerated it thus far.

My complaint is that fan cheering/chanting/celebrating usually reflects the action on the field. There's a rise and fall to it. The vuvuzela sound is just constant. It doesn't seem to have any connection to the actual game. It's just superfluous noise.

but back to the subject. I think it'll be a good thing if the vuvuzelas are gone. I love hearing the fans chanting, yelling, and singing.

    The horns are just obnoxious...

BTW....the above flopping videos doesn't mean I'm no soccer fan. Vamos USA!

I hate people who stand up at stadiums they all need to sit down. I really don't like the yelling either. When I go to Toyota center I expect everyone to be quiet and in their seat.

The difference is that people yell or jump up as a reaction to something that's happening on the pitch whereas the vuvuzelas are just a monotonous noise that seems to stay the same no matter what the hell happens on the pitch.

It has NOTHING to do with fans yelling and cheering. More so to do with the fog horn like constant noise...

I prefer to hear fans chanting, yelling, singing.....

And some could argue that people always standing up is annoying.

You aren't serious about people cheering for the Rockets are you?

If so, enjoy my backside while I cheer as loud as I can for my team.

People standing up only affects the people around theme, not the entire stadium, players, announcers, people watching on tv, etc...
