When they brought him back up he went back to being garbage.

Its really saying something when he couldn't even get any minutes on a Grizzlies team that wasn't even trying to win -- and this is after being in the D-League and showing "potential"

Not only that he continued to be lazy and unmotivated.

    Really, there is no hope

Guys, Thabeet is a stiff. Give it up. What's important is the lottery protected pick. He is also an expiring next year.

So, what is the real deal with Thabeet??? Before the draft, he had a rep for being a hard worker and now he is unmotivated? These are very conflicting descriptions of a person. I am suspecting big money changed him, and if that is the case, I don't want him around. Hope I am wrong.

Maybe a change of scenery will be just what Thabeet needs. He was supposed to start work with Carroll Dawson today. Seeing so many ex-star centers interested in his improvement will probably get him excited about the game again. Being on Memphis's bench probably stifled his enthusiasm for the game.

I know for a fact that he's going to be a good player because Memphis traded him away during his rookie contract.

I hope you are right not wrong...

He is in the last year of his contract ( next year )...

IF he wants more money THAN next year will be a really good year...

IF this is the case THAN:
    - NO LONG contracts for him as a Rocket
    - give him a contract were the better he plays the more money he makes ( can that really be done in the NBA? )
