It is only recently since the demise of the USSR that the USA has dominated the Olympics. 1996, 2000, and 2004 are the only times we have "won" the medal count that I have been alive.

We are used to commies dedicating states funds to "win" by using people in a position of servitude. Way to allocate those resources!

I am sad that with all that effort China seems it will still not even get the total medal count.

To answer the question directly, the only reason people seem interested in the Olympics is because of the loss of the basketball team in 2004 and Phelps.

well, its different from vegas, i would say its like Atlantic City since its near the sea. the games are different, it was hard finding a craps table in macau. i had to go the wynn.

maybe my treatment was different in macau cause i took a first class ferry. totally worth it.

my regret is i only stayed in macau for one day. also, what's up with the metal detectors there? was it a dangerous place before?

i disagree with your point of a waste of money. Fireworks are much cooler than food.

Portugal kept trying to give it back to PRC many years earlier than when they did but PRC wouldn't take it, too much of a headache lol.

I've been to Hong Kong, but it was long ago, when it was a Crown Colony. I really enjoyed it. Don't know what it is like now, but it was a great place to visit back in the 1960's. There was still a lot of history that hadn't been bull-dozed for high rise towers. Sadly, from what I understand, a heck of a lot of that history is gone, replaced by boring, modern buildings.

    Impeach Bush/Cheney.

Just don't forget that not only is deckard old, he's had as much sex as 4000 normal men his age.

He's the genghis kahn of female conquests. And he would know, since he knew genghis.

Most critical is the location of where this sign is or was - once we find it, it's all over for HK as part of China.
