Has your car ever shut down while trying to drive in a flood?

    Is UH still closed? Their site says they reopened for afternoon and evening classes, but it's still pouring rain here on the NW side and frankly I don't feel like driving to campus :eek:

    The only time I have done that is when there was about 18" and I was in an F-150 with that 4x4 kit that makes the tires bigger and the truck a little higher. I would never do it in my car. Everytime I see a flood, I see a girl crying next to her dead car on the phone with her dad. How hard is it to not drive through that?
