It's just hard to believe he is really sitting out strictly because he is injured. If he is, then it seems like it must be much more serious than a thigh bruise. Players have come back from surgeries faster than this...

And in 2 weeks, Asik's target return will be mid-February.

New Orleans announcers said he had the blue flu and laughed about it.

I think he is fine, and may play a game or two before deadline but he is done and is simply pouting.

Its just unfair. Unfair to the team that this pos just sits there and everybody else is expected to play 40+ minutes every night.

Yea Murray. We get it. You wanted a palace for him and nobody would budge. Now you might not get a hut you stubborn fool.

Asik is a tall defensive center with limited skills. He is going to get picked up regardless of whether we suspend him or w.e because his skillset won't regress and is coveted by teams in the league...he literally has to stand there.

This isn't a poker game...its basketball. With players, team chemistry, feelings, emotions, team pride all knitted together (or supposed to be knitted together).

"hurt". He's a cancer. A quitter. A deadweight at this point that the team could use to trade for a player that can contribute.

That's the thing though, last year during the playoffs he was the guy that showed a lot of heart, he's the guy that played his ass off.

It really is disappointing that he doesn't wanna be apart of this team because he would be a HUGE help and a big piece.

Just curious. At which point did the Rockets get a decent offer for Asik?

The only trade rumors I've heard were Josh Smith S&T(he who is sucking badly in Detroit), Millsap(which Atlanta apparently rejected), Thaddeus Young, and Lee/Bass/crappy 1st.

Was there a legit offer for Asik that Morey rejected?

Do you feel Morey overplayed his hand here?

Should Rockets keep Asik or trade him for pieces like a decent PF or C? (Say, he accept his role and is motivated)

Are you disapponted in him and don't want to see him in the rockets uniform again because of his attitude? even if he plays well?

    What's your opinion?:)

Too injured to even sit at the bench in a home game? Guess not not too injured to enjoy that big paycheck the Rockets are paying him. Only in America!

He was one of my favorite Rockets, I am very disappointed in his attitude, really immature. He has shot himself in the foot and hurt the Rockets. I don't see how comes out of this smelling like roses.
