    Titans couldn't do it either.

I think Carr has a career day, or at least a better day than Vince. Vince will be pressing as well and the Titans defense isn't so great. Also, other than Vince, the Titans have pretty mediocre talent at the skill positions. Texans are probably more talented.

If David Carr has a career day Sunday and blows out the Titans with 4-5 TD passes and over 300 yds. it will set the franchise back another 3 yrs.

DC is a nice Christian man, but I would trade him for anyone right now just to dump the $$$$.

I am not sure Kubiak has made his choice, but he has made his bed, now he has to lay in it.

Carr - he is stuck with him.
Dominick Davis - IR? Why IR, why not let him come in mid season?

Kubiak is clearly building from the ground up.

He was outstanding in the Jacksonville game.

I was referring to Vince's outstanding game against the Jags.

    I think you are correct
I know ALOT of former Oiler Fans
    who were Titans fans
who were letting the Titans go when they traded McNair
They saw it as the last of the old oilers
and they were willing to look esle where not

    ENTER VINCE YOUNG
that feeling was revived in alot of them

    Back on topic....

Did anyone listen to the Kubiak show on 610 last night? He was asked whether he still thinks Carr is the guy to lead this team into the future and he said "oh, yes.".

I wouldn't put too much into that, however. No coach (besides JVG) is ever going to answer that kind of question with a 'no' even if that's what he's thinking.

I still think, barring Carr playing like Peyton Manning for these last 4 games (which probably ain't gonna happen), Kubiak has already made his choice and his evaluation period is pretty much done. I think we'll have a new QB under center going into next year's training camp.

Hopefully the team will realize what I realized a few years ago...Carr is not the answer. I mean, when you take the ball out of your QB's hands because you don't want him to blow the game (and he isn't a rookie or early starter), then nothing else really needs to be said.

And folks are still complaining about how Mario isn't making a difference, when we just won a game with our defense? How many people could imagine that before this season?

And how. The defense has for the most part been a pleasant surprise.

Couldn't agree more. We all saw the defense when the season began, it was a joke. But it was something like the past 6-7 games, we were a Top 5 defensive team.

If we could add a good player in our secondary and a OLB, our defense would be pretty good.

carr sucks! He got burned twice by lee evans, that could have been a victory.
Ahhh yes,he also missed a field goal against the Giants, the game could have been 13-13 with the final drive pending but then he turned the ball over after catching it himself.

truth is,you can have tom brady in here and the record would be about the same!

I Listened to an interview inwhich Jack del rio said he would love to have carr as a Qb .

Really, that would be great if we could trade him there.

I'm thinking he's probably hoping we keep him so we continue to suck (although somehow we seem to beat them)

You think the record would be the same with TOM BRADY????

    WTF are you smoking?

Tom Brady knows how to win, how to inspire, how to GET RID OF THE BALL BEFORE GETTING HIT !!!

    Same record...wow.....

Yeah, Tom Brady knows how to play behind a good OL. It is an open question how TB would play behind a BAD OL like the Texans'. TB will never find out.

Forget Tom Brady, Sage looked just fine behind a bad OL.
