Yeah, everyone thought they had a chance against us after that too.

They’ll just prop up Lebron, and find another host next year like the parasites they are.

Kawhi was their boy last year until he had a bigger choke then Harden has ever had this year.

I wish people would just recognize you can like Jimmy Butler and think Harden has faults without making absolutely ****ing insane posts like some of the ones in this and other threads. The Lakers mostly didn't double him, and often didn't even guard him until he was within the three-point line. In the last crucial minutes, he airballed and got blocked. I like Butler's game a lot, but this is silly. What a shame he didn't come to Houston.

The difference between Jimmy Butler and James Harden is....................Harden would be destroyed in the media if he had Jimmy's line from today in a loss..........watch tomorrow and Butler will probably be let off the hook

Heat lost tonight because they did not take/make enough 3's and lost at FT line.

    Sounds familiar.

Again my man...read closely....Jimmy Butler is in THE Finals...and is the sole reason the Heat are there.

One game reactions is a weak/lazy take by you....my take was actually from 8 years of evidence w/ Harden on the Rockets. My original post comparing the mentality of JH and Butler by no means meant Jimmy was better than Harden, just meant Butler is a dog and JH isn't. If you don't know what that means or can't comprehend what I'm saying, that's fine.

...and yeah I'll pretend you didn't just bring up "game plan" again lol. A superstar (with dog in him) shoves the "gameplan" in MDA/Morey's face when it doesn't work. You adapt and change to a given game...case in point is the MID RANGE JUMPER example. You don't continuously jack up 3s when they are not falling. That's why I was so upset CP3 got hurt because he understood this notion completely. Scratch the plan and get buckets even if it means its not a 3 pointer or layup.

    Good day KingKingston...

Imagine if it was anyone other than Harden with this type of injury

man harden just has no luck...AD and CP3 are known to be injured every year while westbrook is almost always healthy
what happened this year was the complete opposite

Harden has failed to advance even when he had the advantage personnel wise. When Kawhi was out, he had no excuse and **** to bed with one of the worst playoff performances by a single player in NBA history to the point where us fans are like "he had some sort of concussion right?". KD was out and he let Curry step all over him in game 6. He just doesn't show up even when things aligned his way. He hasn't proven otherwise.

The Heat have THREE players in the playoffs in the top 13 in wins above replacement....

    Bam : 2.6
    Jimmy : 2.5
    Goran : 2.4

Literally the opposite of what you believe to be true is reality. He has had TWO teammates during this playoff run who have essentially been his equal as far as adding wins. He is NOT in any way shape or form the SOLE reason the Heat are in the finals. Miami and Boston had clear TEAM efforts that carried them while the other teams were mostly carried by duos. And in Houston’s case only 1 guy really showed up and had TERRIBLE teammate contributions.

And even though Butler has advanced farther and has played 250+ more minutes in these playoffs Harden STILL has more WAR at 3.1

Take a look at some of these teams top wins adders for the playoffs...

    Davis : 5.5
    Lebron : 4.1
    Green : 1.7

    Bam : 2.6
    Jimmy : 2.5
    Goran : 2.4
    Crowder : 1.4

    Murray : 4.4
    Jokic : 2.7
    Porter : 1.3

    Tatum : 3.4
    Walker : 2.6
    Brown : 2.4
    Smart : 2.2

    Kawhi : 3.2
    George : 1.8
    Morris : 1.7

    Harden : 3.1
    Tucker : 1.2
    Covington : 1.0

Man, the lengths that trash on this board would go to do try and discredit Harden can be mindblowing sometimes.

Guess the dog in him decided to take a night off. And people say Harden doesn't have a sense of urgency.

If Harden put those numbers up in a game 4 loss in the finals. . . . .. people would lose their minds

I see people talk about the Loss against the Spurs without Kawhi
Harden was 31 - 10 - 7 and everyone says he is a mentally weak sorry so and so
The previous game loss in the spurs
    Harden was 25 -11 -13
    Meanwhile
Last night Jimmy was 22 - 10 - 9 and everyone is jimmy the ultimate competitor and fighter

    GTFOH!!!

    It's the opposite.
Rockets have no structure. I don't know when the last time I seen MDA or James Harden call for plays like Rudy T, Adelman, JVG. Even Steve Francis ran plays occasionally.

It is pretty obvious Butler and Harden are refereed completely different. Even if Harden starting yelling and talking ****, it won't help. They won't give him a pass like Butler.

They know what they want to do as a team to win, they just don't know how to get there consistently. One night we would blowout a good team but lose to a sorry team.

Read closely.....Because he is in the East. Butler has had many Playoff fade outs in previous years.......some people forget that because he had a 40 point triple double.....

lucky you are an NBA coach hey......
