You know that Harden and Butler played each other in playoffs in their primes right?

Butler looks gassed. The refs gave Jimmy some cheap calls down the stretch that he wouldn’t get in Boston.
But Butler looks to be on fumes.

Yeah, I'm talking about their career, not just now. Harden is much better. Even in the playoffs, Harden is a more efficient scorer and better play maker. Butler is a better defender by the eye test. There's no clear measurement for individual defense. But I think even if you count defense, Harden is still the better overall player over their careers. But Harden crumbles in pressure situations. That's not just now but also in his prime.

But Jimmy dropped a BIG 16 and 6 in a 5 game loss.

the common theme with harden haters is that they always have to crown someone and put them in a high pedestal to sht on harden even when they clearly aren't the better players

U seen it with klay, lillard. pg, and butler.

Klay has his rings, so u can make an arguement that u think he has a better career, but that's about it.

i don't understand, Jimmy having a bad game (same one where he scored 15 straight to almost win it outside of a buzzer beater) and people here think that its even comparable to..

THE GREATEST PLAYOFF CHOKER WE HAVE EVER SEEN

not comparable to a guy that just annhialated teams in the playoffs and may very well still be going to the finals. A guy that since day one has his measure of success on both ends of the court even when he isn't scoring. This brainwashing with harden that occurred here is why the front office is still seen as a bunch of idiots, and fans can't understand why their metrics and ass pull stats don't conform to reality. Philly is turning itno the same loser mess

The cognitive dissonance on this board with respect to james is Cult/religion level

What point are you trying to prove? You know Harden met Klay in the playoffs in their primes too right?

this is what I mean, you have to be really ****ing stupid to sit in a corner and think the two should be mentioned in the same sentence. Funny how these nut suckers first excuse is usually ---> "he doesn't have help!!" (he usually does, but when they can't pull out the concussion.exe) theyre hating on an 8th seed undrafted squad that may still goto the finals and almost did after 15 straight from Jimmy.

Winners don't really go out of their way to prove why they're better than losers. The converse isn't usually true hence these posts and the steph curry carry his own team thread. MJ isn't talking about how he's better than Scottie. Now if you look at scottie's youtube feed lately...

Its some pretty sad commentary tbh

The bias against harden is astounding.

    1. There have been a sht ton of more players over the nba history that have choke even harder than Harden, he is not the first or the last to potentially never winning it all. Recency bias right there.

    2. Jimmy will make history if he chokes away a 3-0 lead, thats a fact. In my eyes thats literally the pinnacle of choking. Doing something no star has done before in terms of choking. It's historic, don't downplay that sht.

The ring standards against harden vs other players like butler and Lillard is astounding.
U don't see the cognitive dissonance riding these players jock shtting on harden for faltering in playoffs and not winning it all when they have also failed to win it all?

    Mental gymnastics.

They’re the same, except Jimmy Butler is the hot chick and Harden is the fat friend.

We have the dumbest fan base in sports

This is why nobody posts in the GARM anymore.

imagine dick sucking a dude that quit and fuked this team 4 years ago after choking in a more predictable fashion than the seasons of the year…every chapter

Butler and harden should not be mentioned in the same sentence and most people outside the folks here wouldn’t

We’rent you mofos the ones making a case for harden getting mvp over Steph because Steph had more help and harden was with a bunch of scrubs? I heard in and bought into this bs too. Now you’ve come around and act like one dude isn’t playing with the mvp of the ****ing nba and the other is playing with dudes starting that weeent even drafted

again. It’s crazy, that dick must be good

    Two different scenarios.

Harden in what should have been his mvp year had a bunch of scrubs who he carried to playoffs vs steph curry team.

No one's acting right now that Harden didnt faltered in playoffs when he had an injured mvp embiid either. He did falter, it happens.

Too much emotion out of u that u get riled up into thinking defending Harden back then when he did get rob an mvp is the same situation right now.

Butler is about to choke away a 3-0 lead something thst has never been done before after all that ball gagging from folks like u but keep getting triggered from folks that like harden the "choker"

why the **** do we have gsw fans in this thread. gtfo here. 8v5 every game. actually not even 8v5 because gsw goes out of their way to intentionally injure top players on other teams. harden choking vs gsw? do you not even remember donkey poking out harden's eye and from game 2-6 in 2019 his eyes were completely red? 2018 klay putting his feet under on every shot, and the refs taking away harden's 4 pt play? how do some of you dumb****s already forget? don't come in here trying to say how great gsw is and how others choked vs them when we all know how gsw even got their championships. **** off gsw dickriders

You’re giving people too much credit if you want them to look at context or reality. People just aren’t that bright, best just ignore them till they go away

They are about the same age, and it seems Butler who was the 30th overall pick, a guy people would have never compared to the 3rd pick once, would have the better career from this 33 year old of age forward.

Arguably of course, it seems Butler is getting better, or at least on the trajectory of consistently putting up a performance in the playoffs.

I have to admit that Butler has been playing the regular season like vacationing the last 3-4 years, but it is a clever plan to save himself for the playoffs.

BTW the reason why folks don't post in garm anymore is the team performance is so sht they can't bother to watch and talk about it.
Plus harden isn't on the team anymore for folks to btch about

That has nothing to do with folks liking harden.

Do people not forget we’d have a 1/2 rings if it wasn’t for the warriors? Seriously
