Lol u guys... Butler came to be because there were no real clutch players in the Harden era or not many at least.

One is eliminated and has to stay down.

Harden is clearly a much better player than Butler. Only the most extreme Harden haters would take Butler over Harden.

But the point of this thread still has some truth. In terms of competitiveness and resilience, Butler is better than Harden, not even close. Harden would have given up in the second or third quarter in last night's game after shooting like crap. And if you want to play the "bad teammates" card, how about Butler has three undrafted guys in the starting lineup plus another undrafted guy and a 38-year-old dude coming off the bench against the team with the second best records in the league?

Jimmy’s on the verge of blowing a 3-0 lead so lol No Harden’s never done that.

No. Choking is being nervous not putting up a suitable PERFORMANCE under pressure. Last game Butler had a bad shooting game, but still made plays down the stretch and WILLED his team back in the game. Harden usually checks out the first quarter & never wakes up, hence having more turnovers than shot attempts against the Spurs (2-13 fg). The WORLD has already seen Harden lay down multiple elimination games, so everything is documented bro lol

Jimmy didn't blow anything, the Heat shouldn't have been up 3-0

Both appeared in NBA finals once. Harden in 2012 and Butler in 2020.

What? Harden has been a more versatile player, but where is the 'much better', are you talking about the past?

Now they are pretty close to me with the exception that Butler is playing better in the Playoffs, more consistently.

Funny story, they are about the same age, literally just 19 days separating them. JB the slightly younger one.

Jimmy Butler’s bottom biiiitch fanbois wildin again. Jimmy whooped that bums ass last year in the 2nd round and Harden sorry ass done already been gone from the playoffs the last 2 weeks. Heat were not supposed to make it out of the first round and anything short of a Championship was a failure for ~{James Harden’s Philadelphia 76ers}~ lol.

Jimmy nearly pulled it off despite a poor shooting night with clutch plays the last few minutes of the game and not being a turnover machine with his tail talked between his legs like a gutless bum. Had White not made that miracle tip in the narrative would be how Clutch Jimmy is and how he comes through when it matters most. It’s still true. Ain’t nothing changed except in the minds of sorry ass fanbois of a bum ass loser who was 2nd round fodder again for the 5th year in a row. Trying to bring down a stud like Butler in order to make their worthless hero look good. Fat, bald and fugly never looks good kids.

Imagine last nights game was round 2 and not the conference finals. Now imagine if the Heat were down 2-3 last night and Tatum and Smart were both out. Now consider if the Heat got blown out by 40 points last night and Butler had 10 points and 6 turnovers. That’s a James Harden performance y’all.

Lol at trying to oversell Bam as if Harden didn’t just get eliminated in the 2nd round for the 5th year in a row while playing with The MVP. Butler’s made this run without even having Herro. It’d be like the Sixers without Maxey. Why we even talkin about sorry ass 2nd round fodder lead by a bearded bum loser? Harden fanboi coping mechanisms.

    Harden for the regular season.

    Butler for the playoffs.

    Pretty simple.

Harden cannot go 80 no more.

Would be a small wonder if he can consistently play in 70 or 65 games a year.

It should not matter to babysitting young guys though that is what people in here believe.

If he could not keep himself in shape every offseason, I would not be surprised if he is slacking every now and then when he is here at home.

Is Jimmy Butler going to step up and have a James Harden v. Boston game in the playoffs in 2023?

Harden had 2 epic games - still waiting on big game Buts to put the Celtics away.
