Has everybody forgotten that we can still get Jackson?

    Juan I think the Rockets could sign him as a free agent (in case he is cut or waived). Question for the CBA gurus, I heard somewhere that if Golden State signed Jackson with an exception (which they will) that he can't be signed until the end of the season. Is this true? I can't remember a case of a player being traded after being signed with an exception so I'm clueless on this.

    When does the GSW thing have to be official? You would think that the Rockets would have to receive something official (i.e. GSW can't dork around past 15 days) within the next few hours. If not, the offer sheet the Rockets had MJ sign, seems to be the rule of law.

    I'm not sure if that post my aelliot was subtle or not, but certainly understated... ;)

    Thank you for putting this to rest... I'd like to say once and for all, but yeah... Thank you anyway...

    I'm pretty sure there is life after MJ, especially since CD was only half interested in getting him before Mo went down in the first place...

    Section 4, Subsection 2, Paragraph 1:

    <I>"4.2. Should the Houston Rockets present an offer sheet to any restricted free agent, and that offer sheet be matched by the controlling team, the Rockets shall be barred from acquiring any and all players named Marc Jackson for one full year."</I>

    It looks like it covers all other Marc Jacksons as well. :(

    So the Rockets can sign the player formerly known as Marc Jackson!!!!

    Now, he simply goes by Bahmushka!
