It's tough to say for sure. He did really well against Lopez.

You have been waiting since 2008 to post this (your only thread)?

Based on what I noticed against Portland, I would have to say that I was impressed by his post game.

It wasnt Hakeem or Shaq level, but when he got the ball deep, he mostly scored. he was also using spins and fakes, and his hooks looked good.

I would say there is definite improvement from what I saw from him since the beginning of the season.

If Dwight can go Karl Malone on his FTs, and start somehow shooting them between 65-70% next yr, I would say he'll become the dominant offensive center the league has been missing since Shaq and Yao. I think he found himself mentally this series on the offensive end. It's nice to have that go-to play when you need 2 points. Esp in McHale's system, which is no system.

Dude looks so fluid in the post. He didn't look like that in the regular season. Can't wait to see how he does starting next season.

D12 has become my favorite player. Him and Bev. I'm sure Hakeem will continue to work with him over the summer.

His FTs seemed to be better in the playoff series than regular season

Definitely improved. Personally I would have used Harden more due to free throws in the dying stages. But yeah.

Lopez was not a good post-up defender this season. (190s-200th in the NBA) Need to see Dwight against a center with some size.

Getting better, but Lopez was a great matchup for him all season. A lot of what worked during the series with Portland wouldn't have worked against Gasol, Duncan, Perkins, etc.

Needs to continue to add finesse to his game and work on passing out of the post.

Problem with this series is the Refs did let him get physical as opposed to falling for flops the entire season. Dwight would get called for charges 50% of the time on most centers during the regular season doing what he did to Lopez. That's the sad part about the NBA

Yeah, but he's not in as good of a spot as he was in Orlando. In Orlando, a lot of his postups were based with him having better position. Even though he is a little more fluid now, he isn't as explosive and doesn't usually begin the move in as good of a position.

Noticed this as well, better postmoves but he's starting out of position and sometimes forcing thigns too much.

PS: We're starting a new draft in the fantasy section, join us breh. <3

Looked like he had regressed toward the end of the season, but it seems like the extra work with Dream during the playoffs really paid off. He's still too stiff, but he had some nice counter moves that he desperately needed.

Did he really get better or is our judgement clouded by his recent destruction of Robin Lopez?

IMHO, the true measure of his skill will be when he shows up consistently against his past demons like Perkins, Marc Gasol and Jordan.

All his moves looked pretty good to me, he was using counters and fakes well.
