I had to google real quick to see who the Rockets president of basketball operations was and still a little confused lol
Well here's one thing that definitely would not have happened without Paul which is signing PJ. Sure Morey would've had him on the list but way down and the Raptors would've re-signed him for sure!!
Chris Paul, the Point God, is good enough to be 1.5 star player. Harden who was runner up MVP is also a 1.5 star player. The Rockets mathematically have 3 stars on their team but playing two positions. That's the type of efficiency that Darrell Moriarty likes.
Ok so you're upset that our new All-Star player is recruiting hard nosed defensive wing players to improve our defense and a 10 time All-Star and future Hall of Gamer? This angered you so much that you made a silly thread like this!? In a sane world that is reason to be excited, that one of our star players is doing this and it shows that he wants to be here for the long haul not just one year. I swear people will whine about anything just to get attention.
Actually, Chris Paul is 2.5 star player. 0.5 goes to GM-ing for the Rockets. 0.5 goes to steering the Players Association toward rules that will benefit the Rockets. We need four stars to beat the Warriors. There we have it.
Morey neutered himself when he gave out that Anderson contract last year. He violated his one rule. "Don't get high on your own supply"? No that was Tony Montana in Scarface. Morey's rule is "preserve your cap flexibility". No one can convince me otherwise, that Morey thought he'd be able to easily move that contract if he needed to. He miscalculated.
