We let go over 30% of our employees. I’m hanging on, but man it’s stressful. Working with restaurants when they are on life support is difficult. I’ve had quite a few partnered restaurants close shop.
I'm sorry to those of you who have lost jobs. My company had a round of layoffs, too, and I was fortunate enough to not get laid off. If the writing is on the wall for your job field, you might want to look in to a new career. There are still shortages in: -Teaching -Nursing -General medical field -Driver -Heavy truck driver -Software devs -IT Analysts -Sales I also hear there's big growth in Rabble Rousers/Agent Provocateurs
furloughed one day per month for a 5% pay cut from August-June, working remotely until then. I take a vacation day next to my furlough day and look forward to the 4 day weekends now. next month will give me a two day work week followed by a 5 day weekend with Veterans Day, vacation day, and furlough day so I guess I'm making the best of it.
