there are making a movie about electionic voice phemonena called white noise soon, but evp is apparently a way for 'outside spirits' to communicate with the world. there are some examples and clips here I found this freaky and interesting, I plan to see white noise when it comes out soon AAEVP

i've seen the face in Galveston other than that, i never have...but people very close to me have on multiple occassions.
I rented a house with some friends in Houston, Oak Forest, right after I got out of college. Supposedly an old couple had lived there previously, and the man died in his sleep in the back bedroom. When I was moving my belongings in to my room, back bedroom, the bedroom door would not stay open. You open it, it would close, this went on the entire day. Went back the next day and the door would now stay open, and it never happend again. Also, that room was always cold. You would always here foot steps in the hallway going or coming from the back bedroom. The door to the garage would be found wide open in the morning. My housemates and I would close the door and lock it and it would be open again in the morning. I got woke up one night and could of swore I briefly saw someone standing next to my bed. My friends were more afraid of it then me. I just always shrugged it off, like what could it do to me anyway.

I've never seen a ghost before, but my dad has...and he tells this story a lot. As a teenager, my dad's brother (my uncle) would speak about a female ghost that beated him at night. Of course, nobody ever believed him. My uncle was heavily into meditation and had been learning how to meditate on his own ever since he was 7 or so. He meditated several hours every day. When my dad was about 22 yrs old and in the military, he came back home to stay with his brother. My dad took his room since it was bigger and he needed a lot of space. One night, as he was sleeping face down, he heard a noise at the window. Startled, all of a sudden he couldn't move his body. He felt a hand touch him and turn him over belly up. There, he saw a pale white figure glaring at him, with a stick in hand. He saw the ghost's eyes, which were deeper inside the head than normal human eyes. Its eyes were blinking. Seeing that my dad wasn't his brother, the ghost which did not have any legs, floated out of the window, like a sheet of paper. My dad saw the same ghost 4 times total while staying with his brother. The last 2 times, the ghost would just float outside his window, staring in. Apparently, the ghost also had some sort of "freezing" mechanism before it arrives, which explains why my dad couldn't move at all. The reason why this ghost haunts my uncle is unknown. I think what happened was that my uncle somehow meditated incorrectly, which somehow summoned a ghost to his house. Keep in mind that my uncle's life is meditation. He had been a monk for a few years, and he has the ability to drift outside his body while meditating. To this day, he lives in the same house, and is still haunted by the same ghost.
