Wasn't that Harris' first game in the NBA? Kneejerk much?

I thought Harris was playing very tight. But you can still see what he brings to the table, hustle and rebounding. I thought he gave us some pretty good minutes so far, and should play better when he loosens up. Either way, maybe we should give him more than 1 game before dumping all over him.

As for Williams, he's an emergency big man and 6 fouls. In the immortal words of Denny Green, "He is what we though we was."

I think Landry is coming back against Atlanta, and I wouldn't judge Williams and Harris on one game. They just arrived, they don't know how the Rockets play. We should see how they play in some other games first.

I love how you judge the guys after a few practices and one game and then talk about keeping Green who did NOTHING.

Harris looked tight to me and very unsure of where he should be, especially offensively. I was surprised his stat line looked as good as it did since he looked lost a lot of the time. I'm okay with him though. I saw enough in preseason to know he's got plenty of hops and I think when he relaxes a little, he'll jump right in and contribute very postively.

Justin Williams-don't know where's he's at yet. But.........his FT stroke is terrible, hate to see him get the ball in any other position besides finishing because if he gets fouled..........he's gonna miss. He also didn't play until garbage time so you really can't tell much bout his abilities yet. I'm not worried about his skills or physicality. I'm worried about his brain.

Yeah, apparently that is the epitome of sucking to some people. As you mentioned in a later post it was also done in 20 minutes of action! I swear, some people expect the guy to drop 30 points in his first game! As you mentioned, he actually played better then Scola in his first game. Meanwhile, while Williams has to be careful with the fouls he still had 3 points and a board in 6 minutes. Once they become comfortable they will add more depth to the Rockets' frontline.

no no no, i was sitting basically on the floor. mike harris has UPS. insane ups at that. i guarantee that he is better than his stats showed tonight. i also think williams will play much better than this. an uncharacteristic night from both i believe.

Isnt it a bit fast to judge them? I do agree they performed below our expectations but I think they can contribute once they practice hard and learn our system fast

Harris had a solid game. He just wasn't playing loose...but neither were a lot of our guys when they were first trying to play withing Adelman's system.

Is he better than Landry? No. Will he be effective and be able to help us out? I think so

Both of them make Carl Landry look like Dwight Howard. I mean they can't even do anything with like 3 passes to each of them? Send them back to whereever they came from.
