    Wow, just wow.
Not a positve wow, but more of a negative wow.

    Mike Harris
-i didn't even expect him to be THIS bad...i thought he was decent....turns out hes not good

    Justin Williams
    -flat out horrible

both of them cant really jump, no offensive abilities, fouls ppl, only grab rebounds....sigh....i rather keep Gerald Green...

    thoughts?

Mike Harris did good. He wasn't spectacular but he was useful in the minutes he was on the court. Even if he missed his shots he was hustling after them and making a positive out of the negative.

Williams was trying too hard. Much like Kirk Snyder earlier in the season... and how Bobby Jackson is sometimes. He is 6 foul insurance... so we don't have to expect much from him.

I thought Harris was ok, but Justin Williams looked very uncomfortable and unfortunately, very incapable...at least on offense.

One thing to consider though, is that the Nets (although they suck) do actually have a decent shot blocking front line with Diop, Boone, and Swift. Add that to the fact that Harris and Williams were both making their debuts, and I can see where they might have issues, as they are both "around the basket" type guys.

What took so long for one of these negative threads to pop up? I actually thought Harris didn't play so bad. Its his first game and I didn't have high expectations of him. We win 19 straight and you want to b**** about the guys at the end of the bench?

Hmm, that sounds like Scola in his first couple months of the NBA.

He didn't get accustomed to the system and learn to contribute, oh wait...

It's not fair to come to such a conclusion after just one game. Mike Harris is really undersized (6'5, I think), so he was having a tough time getting his off around the basket. He just needs to get his timing down. The guy is a good athlete ... I think he's worth keeping.

Williams is not an offensive player. That's not why we brought him in. If he can rebound and block shots and play decent post defense, he can be valuable in the playoffs.

What do you expect? Both of these guys are marginal NBA talents and end of the bench type players. They are here as insurance policies in case someone gets injured.

I was watching Harris tonight. Amazing because in the summer leagues, Harris outrebounded Landry a lot of times. But you know what? Landry adding 4 inches to his vertical is huge. Harris went up to dunk a few times and didn't have the lift that Landry has. Harris is aggressive and gets after the ball. I like his hustle. I think Harris will eventually figure this NBA game out and his shots will start falling.

Maybe along this amazing win strike, you are expecting too much, setting the bar too high for the two new comers.

6pts, 7 rebounds, 1 steal is bad for Harris' real game in the NBA? Certainly played better than Scola's first game in the NBA...

we've won 19 in a row so why not b!tch about the two guys on 10 day contracts making their debuts. there is a reason you get 10 days to look at them and not one.

Mike Harris grabbed 7 boards (2nd most for the Rox tonight). He's another Chuck Hayes type player with more of an offensive game.

Harris was not adjusted to NBA type of game. Knowing he played in China and had a lot of those uncontested shots on the paint just like he did tonight with challenge against the Nets. Williams can be good defender but can polish his offense just enough for 10 minutes playing time. Overall assesment C+!

And don't forget he did that in only 20 minutes...

I though Mike Harris was a good dunker. But Harris's 2 handed dunk attempt was barely over the rim. What's Harris vertical?
