no doubt.. i hate to hear about things like this because we all have families and it could happen to any of us or people we know... granted times aren't great now but that doesn't give anyone excuses to go robbing people... i hope news like this will deter other idiots from trying to do it the "easy" way

I hope Quannell X doesn't try to get the homeowner thrown in jail for shooting an unarmed guy.

Depends on how much he is getting paid. He has yet to make up his mind.

i've been fortunate enough to not have been a victim of B&E.. i can only imagine the trauma that would cause... i've been ran off the road before in an attempted car jacking a very long time ago... thank God my girlfriend (wife now) and i were able to get away... it was so traumatic my mind wasn't right for a very long time... i wish i had a gun then but i'm glad i didn't because it would be hard knowing that i shot and killed someone.. even if it was in self-defense...

In Arkansas, I would be in trouble if I shot somebody for just breaking in my property.

My "research" indicates that both the Stand-Your-Ground and the Castle Doctrines are alive and well in Texas, as they should be.
