I don't know what was really going on with White But on a side note, I can say with all honestly, anxiety can be a real sickness. I've gone weeks feeling absolutely sick (light headed, dizzy, nausea, loss of appetite, trembles, lack of sleep etc) from having bad anxiety, even though it's all in your head it can be really hard to control.
"I did everything to help my teammates and help my teammates get better," Harrell said. "On the defensive end, make sure if someone was beat, I was helping them. On the offensive end, just try to get them extra possessions. "I definitely need to get better conditioning. I feel like I need to get back to my mechanics shooting my jump shot. It's going to come with time." Conditioning is vital for a player who produces based on his energy. The Rockets are not going to be calling plays for Harrell. The Rio Grande Valley Vipers will likely not often work to get him touches. In many ways, that points to his value as a player who can produce by running the floor, hitting the boards and working off others.
I still like this guys hustle and think he could be a late season call up for us now that Smith is not coming back
His motor is gonna get him PT...Mchale has mentioned this a lot. Just showing a high level of activity with the time you are given is what Mchale wants. Its why I truly believe that Harrell is gonna succeed. He has to improve on his conditioning and work on getting his body ready to go, but I expect some awesome things from Montrezl...Trust me, we wont have to worry about the dude not hammering the ball...something that both DMo and TJones dont do as much as they should. The Rockets really made some real underrated draft decisions that will pay off. Also really do NOT expect either of them to be included in a trade unless its for a very significant piece.
That is true. However, it doesn't make you a jerk or change your general sense of entitlement / ethics.
I'm slightly familiar with Harrell since he was at Louisville... I would call him athletic with a limited ceiling... Sort of like Dorsey. I can't see him developing more ability than he has had in college... Maybe a few post moves but that would be it.
his motor looked worse than advertised in the 3 summer league games i watched. constantly out of position for rebs, constantly calling for the ball on offense instead of moving/cutting or playing for his teammates, slow to get downcourt. there were some flashes of potential there, but he looks a long way away from contributing
Seems like a lot of his issues about proper technique when to box out/positioning ...and lack of conditioning...Once he gets his legs and really focuses on technique, he can be a rotational guy...He had his moments today.
