Ha, these reviews are usually done by people who just look at the roster and never really watch us play.

We might not win many games this season, but we'll surprise a lot of people by how well we can play.

I hope we win under 30 games...but if Lin, Asik, TJones all come through, and Parsons improves noticably, we might risk being a 14th lotto pick again

Although the surprise of proving all the haters wrong would be satisfying, I rather get a high lottery pick for next year..

Anybody noticing a trend here? They do it to us every year. Last week it was 20 games. It will continue to go up as the season progresses. Same old, same old.
How do these people stay employed?

    Remember the movie Major League?

This team of so-called "scrubs" will win at least 38 games. Our Houston Rockets are overall not too bad this year, certainly not terrible. I would even go so far to say that the improved play of a single player has the potential to make a big difference and spoil the tankers' plans. Consider the Knicks of last spring, who were awful (remember when they came to Houston and got demolished?) But then a single player named Jeremy Lin turned it on; the Knicks thereupon went on an 8-0 run, played impassioned basketball, and made the playoffs. I hate to burst anyone's bubble...but this team has 3 or 4 players who, be it by a slight miracle, have the potential, with improved play, to make a case for the all-star game. Just imagine the potential for example of Parsons if he keeps sticking threes and jump shots like he has the last few games!

No its pretty consistently been around 30. Vegas has been around the 28-30 win mark for the Rockets for awhile now. Did you even read what the guy was writing about? He is doing write ups about whether teams will make it to their Vegas betting projected win totals this year.
