You don't get it. You don't get how nba playoffs work. I'm not going to 'splain it to you. We are 3-1 with that "trend." We also own every 4th Q. And we are 3-1 with that trend, too.

What kind of a response is this? What is it that I'm not "getting"?

If there's a trend it should logically be fixed. Simple as that

This is true. I don't even want Harden to act like Kobe or MJ, it's not his personality and it's actually detrimental to his game.

I've seen Harden visibly upset before, and it ended with him iso'ing over and over again and taking bad shots and ignoring everything else.

Harden actually played well tonight, I don't think he was on tilt at all and made mostly good decisions even when they were down.

This thread should be about "Harden's Fashion Sense" not his personality.

Hey I know let's compare 25 yr old harden to the greatest player of all time / all time clutchest performer. That should work out well.

17 seconds across the half court,

yeah, that's all you need to know about his personality.

What I do get is the cavs, wizards and warriors successfully closed out their respective series in sweeps.

What makes the mavs any different? They are not a better team than the Pelicans at this point.

We also have won every 4th quarter, and we are 3-1 on that "trend."

You just don't get it. Sorry

What sort of obtuse logic is this?

I agree that style doesn't work for everyone but that does not negate the fact that harden too often does not engaged. On the defensive end that's well documented but for me on the offensive end it's more concerning because he is our one true play maker. When your team needs a close out you have to have that killer instinct.

I don't get your point. If you don't sweep, you suck? wow. you just don't understand NBA playoffs at all.

btw: Wizards closed at home...not the same. Warriors were extremely lucky to win game 3.

Whatever you say. Winning every 4th quarter didn't help tonight. It was too little too late. I'm not sure what you are trying to say about the 4th quarter trend when tonight clearly does not support your point. They lost.

If they were 4-0 after tonight then you'd have a point.

Every leader has their own vocal methods. I never said he had to be Kobe or MJ, yelling at his teammates. He needs to talk to his teammates, get them to buy into their roles, follow the gameplan, calm everyone down, and get everyone on the same page.

Our team has broken down in the second quarter two games in a row. We've had poor lapses in transition defense and have made no adjustments. We still jack up quick shots and play exactly into the Mavs' plan. Our team didn't execute and panicked, letting the game get out of hand again. That's where Harden and Howard need to take control of the team and be more vocal.

Go ahead and quote where I juxtaposed Harden and Jordan. You won't find it. What I asked: was not Jordan's competitiveness what took his game to the next level.

Whoa partner, I never said the rockets sucked. I said they allowed for game 4 and a golden opportunity to slip away.

You see, I don't have a problem with losing as long as the focus and effort is there. I can't believe fans like yourself feel a lackadaisical effort in game 4 is acceptable. That's the problem.

Is it really too much to ask a contending team to have that focus every night? I can't believe I even have to reiterate that point over and over again.

If only Tim Duncan would have shown some more fire, he would be a hall of famer.

Obtuse logic? You are really going to honestly tell me that the rockets couldn't have finished the mavs off tonight?

Focus wasn't there tonight and that is the problem. I wouldn't be disappointed if they showed up but the mavs beat them flat out. But shooting yourself in the foot and lack of focus is never excusable

Uh, anyone want to field this question for me? :)

My point about we are 3-1 on the trend of winning every 4th quarter...is to make a mockery of your heavy importance on losing the 2nd quarter tonight, when we've actually lost each 2nd q the entire series....and I had to tell you that. You didn't know it.

Are you following me? Your trend means nothing. Losing a 2nd Q could have several reasons that are not indicators for winning or losing a game.

Sorry you don't understand nba playoffs.
