The one thing I will absolutely blame Harden for is knowingly and willingly creating this circus around a team that actually has every chance to compete at a very high level in the West. On paper, barring health, a team of Harden - Wall - Wood - PJ - Cousins - EG - House is a legitimate contender. I don't think a single rational person is saying he needs to show up, sign the extension and commit himself for the next 4 years to this team. What almost everyone IS saying is that he should show up, give this team and coaching staff every last chance to prove that they can win with you THIS YEAR, and give everything you have to this upcoming season. Don't Wall and Cousins deserve more respect than that?? Why would you knowingly tank your reputation among players?

    Right....

You do know that in the Thunder Series Harden averaged nearly 30/8/7/2/1 while shooting 46% from the floor ...... he also had an O rating of 121 and a D rating of 104.

As for Dort, he averaged 12/4/1/1 and shot 35% from the field with an O rating of 81 and a D rating of 109.

Harden had a cumulative gmsc of 23.8

The next best in the entire series? Chris Paul at 16.7

    Dort? His was 4.

So, you can remember it however you want to....... but James Harden destroyed Dort in that series, and he production in that series was better than any other two players on either team.

Hey Mom, he signed a guaranteed contract. I guess no one ever taught him to honor his agreements.

    2020: James Harden
    2019: Paul George
    2018: Paul George
2017:He had a very Good yera
    2016: KEVIN FREAKING DURANT.

Im talking about the Royce Young* lol edit stuff about his IQ. Dont do this, you are taking nuance out of this whole discussion. Harden has gone farther and done better as the best player against better competition.

Okay...this last paragraph is completely fake news stuff bro. Alright not even worth discussing it anymore, you like Russ alot I get it.

The owner is to blame for a lot of things that are happening. As far as Harden skipping goes he's really a jerk, and really irresponsible for doing this during a pandemic as well.

Give us a healthy Chris Paul for G6 and G7, OR put Scott Foster in jail where he belongs, and the Rockets are most likely hanging a 2018 championship banner in Toyota Center right now, this despite the fact that the 2018 Warriors had a Kevin f**king Durant in the lineup (a version LeBron never beat). LeBron never won titles when he had the kind of rosters or luck that Harden has had in Houston. He always did it with a healthy, deep, and talented roster. This is also not to suggest that Harden is as good as Lebron. I'm not arguing that. Why do people keep making these ridiculous Jordan and LeBron comparisons? Harden doesn't need to be the GOAT to be an incredible player capable of winning a championship under reasonable circumstances.

As for what Harden did in G6 against San Antonio, I agree that is inexplicable and inexcusable (unless he really was concussed)... just like LeBron's entire 2011 finals appearance.

I don't know about you, but my mom will always have my ear, even when I'm 60. Her message is misguided, bottom line.

that warriors team still won like 66 games and lebron was without kyrie and love. he had to force up a ton of shots under duress because they had absolutely no offensive firepower. the fact he was still able to get two wins in the series is incredible.

Harden could have at least shot well and not turned it over a signficant amount in both games 6 and 7. If he did that and still lost people would probably cut Harden more slack. But he usually shoots extremely poor in these type of games. Yes he was facing a uphill battle against a more talented team with his second best player missing but at least go out guns blazing with a spectacular performance and if you lose you lose. But nope, he shot atrociously and in 2020 against the Lakers, he was just so easy to take out of the offense in the 4th because of his stationaryness allowed easy doubles on him.

Wait? So he had nothing to do with his winning record? It was all James Harden, Paul George, and Kevin Durant?

What's next? Scottie Pippen is a trash player because he played with Jordan? You're completely taking ANY credit from him and assigning it to other players he's played with.

Who says he's better than Westbrook?

Can he at least get SOME credit for playing on winning teams? Like...what?

How is that fake news? Does Russ listen to coaching or doesn't he? Trying to use that report as some narrative that he ignores coaching is dishonest.

Yet you hold 0 bias here after giving him 0 credit for any winning he's been involved in...

Really? Harden was 11/22 in game 6 for 32 points.
