They were going to do it in the playoffs anyways. Harden might as well get used to it now

 

they are fine-tuning the fckery they will unleash on Harden and the Rockets come playoff time

other stars have no problem getting to the line during the playoffs, but Harden all of the sudden struggles to get high free throw attempt numbers...

 

Harden should be used to it by now.

 

This is my point. The sooner that the team gets use to this type of cheating the more mentally prepared they will be to make a run at the title.
The other thing it broadens James's gameplan to use his teammates more since you can't count on them making obvious foul calls

 

I think that everyone knows the answer to this.

imo, the first two games was because of the defense. I thought both CLE and ORL played him straight-up and were told not to foul the drives or 3s.

And he destroyed them.

 

as long as the refs call / does not call them equally for both sides

when MDA, his staff, and players notice them then they should be extra physical on defense as well

Then say they will do it in the playoffs

Which means he will get even less
So only 2-3 in the playoffs
And they ok with that.

Means his turnovers, missed shots and energy will be lower because uncalled fouls.

It won't be called equally. Our players would just stay in foul trouble. We are really going to have to overcome a lot to win in the playoffs this year. Far worse than what we have witnessed in the past. We will need the same type of fight that we showed in second half tonight to overcome the b.s.

 

"It's extremely obvious" isn't going to convince anyone that isn't a Rockets fan, as you know. If something shady is going on here (I couldn't watch today's game, and I missed a good chunk of the last game, so I have less information than you to go on right now), a viral video that makes it clear to even the most skeptical observer would be pretty useful, don't you think?

From what I saw over the past week, it seemed like teams were making an effort not to foul Harden -- more so than usual. But I'm not ruling out that the league decided to direct the refs to change how they officiate him. I do believe it happens in the playoffs.
