Why do you keep saying Dwight is 6'9"??

    He is 6'11".

I have to sleep so I'll just throw in my last 2 cents here.

If Wilt were to play in the 90s / 00s / today, he would be a 18-22ppg/ 10-12rpg guy. Great center, just not GOAT good. Think a taller Howard with a better post game (but not tremendously good like Kareem or Hakeem's).

True, but to say Wilt would get dominated is also silly. Wilt was a beast in his own right, he can't help it he was born too soon to dominate against the likes of prime Kareem/Hakeem/whoever.

I'm not saying he would get dominated... but he wouldn't be anywhere near what he was in the 1960's.

The defense is so much better today compared to even just the 1980's.

The 1980's was a joke when it came to defense.

Players are so much bigger and stronger now compared to the 60's and the defense is worlds better. The game is faster, more aggressive, more intense.

    Who said that?

Also, 3 feet and inches to Wilt's pelvis sounds about right, higher to his belt line.

I think Wilt would probably be a 20-30 PPG and 14-20 RPG with assists and blocks, every single night.

I saw him some on TV back when he played, usually on a weekend, but there weren't all that many games broadcast. ABC broadcast the NBA during the mid-'60's, and then it went back to NBC, but a small number of games compared to what you see today on network TV. Wilt was amazing. If he'd played for the Celtics, he would have had many, many championships, in my opinion. Russell was great himself, but very lucky to be playing for Boston.

Avery/Rondo tonight. I think it ends here. Hope I'm wrong, and there's a good chance I am. But this is my hunch.

It would be this game also because the Celtics play slow, deliberate, (booooooooring) basketball and so the Rockets will have fewer possessions themselves in general --> means possibly fewer possessions to offer James Harden for him to get his 25.

Still more than possible, but we'll know more about the tempo of the game when the teams actually hit the court.
