Damn, we have players in China at the moment so I can understand ignoring questions concerning China for the time being.

Where have you been? The entire league has obviously been ordered to dodge questions about the China issue for now. Even outspoken guys like Kerr and Pop are tap-dancing when asked about it by reporters. There's no doubt that someone in the league office sent around a memorandum telling everyone to hold their opinions until further notice.

It's not that they don't feel FREE to answer those questions, it's that their employers have asked to not to for the time being.

You are posting misleading details with misleading header also.

A SPOKESMAN shut down the question before the Rockets player giving any reactions.

Russ did NOT reply with this : NEXT QUESTION.

What players do we have in China at the moment? Are we confusing Japan with China?

not just Harden, like I asked in the other thread:

How many NBA players and their assistants, relatives, team officials and employees, coaches, referees, agents or even NBA sponsors, retired NBA players, undrafted NBA players, have made public statements on Taiwan, HK, or human rights in China, since the born of internet till even after NBA is being cut from China and when being pressed by congressmen and CNNs?

Any? other than Morey's single & deleted tweet? Why has this happened on the land of free?

I hate CNN. Trying to stir up controversy for no reason. Hearing what athlete believes about global politics isn't necessary.

    thread title is accurate

Obviously the PR rep was told to do this and Harden & Westbrook got the memo to shut up about it

nothing was misleading in the thread title, its exactly what happened

    again, the topic isn't misleading
