Ill give props to the few players that actually work on their game and continue to improve even when they've become recognized. I've been watching him play. He's been scoring is a variety of ways and changes it up
ok guys.... harden prooved it a whole season the numbers he put up... i wanna wait and see if george can sustain this level of play on the offense all year... and harden has taken a big leap too this year.. am i the only one who noticed harden improve that midrange jumper... he couldnt hit it last year to save his life, and this year hes hitting it more consistently
Harden is better offensive player George is better all-around player but if you don't play defense no matter how much you can score your opponent can score as well so that even out George is better
I don't buy it that Paul George has peaked. Dude is only in his 3rd year. Harden is in his 4th. Both have room to grow. I love lock-down defensive type player, so I want to said Paul George. Harden's efficiency is, however, ridiculously good. But is defense is below avg (and will cost us game when his O isn't there). At this very moment, it's Paul George.
Yea time will tell but last night when Indiana faced a good defensive team George went 6-19 for 21 points. But George put up good numbers against the cupcake teams so far. Offensively I think he's playing over his head right now. But I do think he can be a legitimate 20 ppg scorer _ but I still have game 7 in my head when LeBron put him on lock like his probation got revoked. Harden out played LeBron last year in Miami when they went head to head and Harden had Asik and Parsons who only dropped 9 points. I believe George is thriving because of the system he is in and because the guys that are on the court with him. But we will see if he maintains 25 ppg throughout the year...
Paul George will be all first or second team this year because of his scoring, rebounding, and defense. He's a better two way player than Harden.
perfect how you said it, its not about whi is better.... if paul is off he can step up with defense and rebounding.... if harden is off (he will cost of a game sometimes) when he is off he tends to play defense even poorer... at the same time yes harden can win us some games like he did in portland in this 4th but cant expect that to happen all the time
I'd go with Paul George because he's a two way player, which I think is rare in a young rising star. Just looking at offense though I'd go with Harden.
George is a complete player.....Harden is just an efficient scorer at this point. Now you pair up George and Harden......another pretty good combo.
PG is a stud and for sure one of the future faces of the league with James harden. Harden avg 9 more points last yr than PG and is considerably more efficient. This yr their numbers are similar and harden is not even playing to his standards while PG is playing at a level we've never seen him play at before. Now I'm not saying he can't sustain it because the same way were doubting him is what a lot of ppl were saying about harden last yr. but I've watched all the pacers games this yr and not much has changed in PG offense. He's still cant create his own shot just long twos or cuts to the hoop. He's hot right now and is a good shooter so if he keeps up the shot attempts then maybe he can sustain 23-24 ppg. But what harden did last season only a handful of players in the league can do and I hate to burst your bubble but PG is not one of them. I'm positive 75% of gms would still take harden to start their team over PG.
And y'all saying harden doesn't work on his game is stupid. Him and Paul George work out together lol so their doing the same thing. Maybe PG is better from working with harden cause is know its not the other way around.
PG gave LBJ trouble, Harden makes JJ Redick look like an all-star. Harden's marginally better offensive game is more than offset by his significant worse defence than PG
Harden played good defense for the first three games. Hurt his ankle/knee and had a bad game running through several screens. If you think Harden is the problem. Go check out Chandler Parsons effort. Ew. Harden is a much better offensive player. Watch the game, not the box score.
Should reconsider this question at midseason, to see if PG keeps up his pace. Too small of a sample size at the current moment.
ok you definitely aren't watching any games if you dont think harden's defense is very lazy and pretty much non existent.
Judging by your inability to be coherent to my English, I will put it in to simpler terms for you. Harden played good defense his first three games of the season. He closed out, he boxed out, he played the passing lanes well albeit not gambling as much as last year. The last two games, since he has been banged up, he has had a lack of effort. I think I have been watching the games just fine.
