His physical talent. Anyway, as for those traits, his shooting has improved leaps and bounds. He couldn't hit a jumper let alone the 3 ball like he does regulary now. His ball skills are the same. In the last two years he has improved leaps and bounds. He might be able to get better, but I think he dosent have that much room left.
Where in my comment states he will be more efficient than Durant. No I don't know that and pimpn you don't either.
Harden's offensive game is superior to George, but George plays lock down defense and is able to score. His three point shot has been much more consistent. George is playing much better
using that logic and stating Harden is nowhere near reached his ceiling. Harden at 25 ppg, how does he get much better than that.
ok, you got me, it's possible for someone with no brain to not recognise it's unsustainable with his limited offensive skillset to maintain efficiency greater than MJ/Durant on a high volume of scoring.
Everyone should reserve judgement until the All Star break. That way the stats will be more true to what both players will average for the year.
I'm saying he is as efficient as Durant right now. 27 ppg on 62% TS. Those are Durant numbers. You're saying these numbers are realistic. These numbers are going to plummet.
On offense Harden's offense cant improve much more, but his rebounding and defense has the room to grow. Harden is the 3rd best offensive player in the league.
I still prefer harden, coz the jury is still out on Paul George... I still have a few questions in mind. 1. will he still be an elite defender despite having a bigger role on offense. 2. will he sustain his effeciency. and field goal. 3. can he stay healthy. will have a better idea by mid season
exactly and the same can be said about PG. there's always something they can become better at. Only question is are they willing to commit to it and apply it on the court
Just to over-generalize a bit: Harden is the best 2-guard in the league. Hands down. Except on the road during the first half, then he's the worst 2-guard in the league. Hands down. (Hands always down, in fact.) But he's young.
Harden was just ranked in a top 5 player in the league by many NBA analysis, George was top 15? It's 4 games into the season and because George has been playing better, Rockets are ready to trade him for Harden? Smh
My only question here is, it seems that Clutchfans have attracted a ton of outside teams fans. Paul George nut hugging going on in this thread. Please watch him play, he is limited offensively. He is hitting tough shots at an efficient rate. That's not going to continue.
no idea how you know PG has hit his ceiling...you could have said the same thing at the end of last season and been wrong. i think you're wrong now too. and your comment is a bit funny -- it almost suggests that PG has hit his ceiling, but Harden has not, but when Harden does on improve on his rebounding and defense, he will be AS GOOD AS GEORGE IS NOW AT THEM lol! so you're saying george is worse than harden because harden has the potential to become as good as george? lawl
i agree here. PG has played great these first 5 games...and his offense has improved, but too many box score watchers here who might not be watching the games or something. just because their PPG is similar does NOT mean PG is now as great of an offensive threat as harden. harden's playmaking and vision and ability to create offense >>> george, and probably always will be. george's defense and rebounding >>> harden, and probably always will be.
WTF is this guy talking about?. I said Harden and his offense is probably reached his max. How do you come up with you're conclusion. Learn how to read.
To compare, for the first 4 games of last season, Harden averaged 30.3 points 5.5 rebounds and 5.3 assists with 2.5 steals while averaging 49.4% from the field.
What is your purpose for saying someone with no brain? Come on man, no need for all the wise cracks. So far he have shown he could score in a variety ways. So where are you getting this limited skillset from. You don't think the man worked on his game over the off season. Have his game improved each year since he been in the NBA? I am nowhere claiming his performance will stay where its at. But who knows, it just might. And if it does what will you say then?
