actually Harden came back and didnt even go to the bench he went to the scorers table he wanted back in himself afterwards it didnt matter it was taped up and warm the more he sat the faster it would have swelled up
The game would have been close if Harden didn't cause foul trouble for many of their guys. If Harden can only play 1 of the 2 games, it has to be against the Warriors. It might also gives us the better seeding should we be in a tie-breaker situation. Just look at which game Popovich has his starters rest. It's always the tougher game. *The Bulls game doesn't really count because there's really legit injuries.
Just stop. You obviously have never sprained your ankle before. Unless its very serious(torn ligament) which it wasn't obviously for him to have movement in his ankle, a doctor would actually recommend you keeping it loose right afterwards rather than immediately resting. The swelling(which will come when resting your ankle) is going to be what keeps him out of future games. Alot of times, allowing your ankle to swell right away is the worst thing you can do for fast recovery. As for his knee, it was reported as a bruised knee. So while it hurts we are assuming that there is not joint or cartilage damage in the knee, and that its just a bruise. Its painful, but it not something thats going to wreck his career if he plays on it. Lastly- this was Keith Jones' call... not McHale's. McHale was the one that pulled him out of the game after the ankle injury. Im sure Harden was begging him to be put back in the game after Keith Jones made sure there was no serious damage in the lockeroom.
There is a processor in JLIN's brain determine his performance. If you wanna overclocking that chip, add more pressure (voltage).
http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/true-warriors Sounds like no decision's been made yet. Harden maybe playing tonight.
Sounds good to me. I won't even complain about him coming back last night, because I know how it is for a barely playable sprain. It stings like hell at first, then you can play on it without really risking anything. Then once it swells, it wants no part of activity. Congrats James, you made it to the All-Star break 4 games over .500!
Agreed. We honestly have slim chances of winning this game even with Harden. Just being realistic....
Thats why i said IF its similar to lin's since he was able to play on it just fine. And it may be just one game but its an inportant one...hell they all are from here on out. I'm not saying go out there if his ankle is the size of a freaking baseball. I'm saying if he's able to go then I want him to go.
Good call. Rest him. Clips have our numbers anyway. No need to risk any further injury. It'll be fun to see the offense ran through the bromance in Lin/Parsons.
