LMAO. Your problem with my post is my use of the word disgusting? Umm OK how about his post filled me with indignation is that better? Or better yet how about you look up the definition of disgusting before assuming that it only means "something you find to be nasty" I guess? My diction is just fine it's your reading comprehension that seems to be the problem.

Well it all depends on how big is his input. If its basically him deciding then things arent going well with this team. Consulting and discussing with the franchise players is normal. Having the players decide is smth only cp3 and lebron do.

Btw I am not sure Harden would like jvg as a coach.

Here's the thing though. Harden does not have the maturity or basketball iq to pick the coach. The dude okayed the FO move to get rid of McHale and put the rookie jbb in charge for the season. He called for the recruitment of TY Lawson and that was a failure.

My feeling is that Les and Morey are afraid Harden is gonna leave Houston for LA and they must appease to him so he'll stay.

Let's put our balls on the bandsaw and give Luke Walton the spare keys.

Why not? He's exactly what objective basketball people would call a centerpiece player

I'm sure if he was still available, Harden would have advocated for Thibs. He may be a good voice in helping pick the coach. He may also be tired of JB.

Harden sure knows about being tired of things. He got tired of playing defense this season

Morey has also said that he seeks input from Harden and Howard about player acquisitions.

    There's nothing newsworthy here.

This is a recipe for disaster, take his input, but by no means hire the coach he wants to coach the team.

    Lmao.

Even Prime Kobe didn't have a say in selecting a coach.

Probably smart as we need a coach that he respects but will get on him to play D.

Team needs to get pure offensive players and let JVG coach them to play D. Better than all these garbage 3&D players that can't hit a 3 or play D.

It's like people don't understand the word role.

He'll have a role. He's not making the hire.

    This makes complete sense.

What a BS statement. Of course he is. It's not like Harden will be picking the coach, regardless of what the tweet says. Looks like it was taken from that article earlier today.

Will they be consulting with Harden? Probably, as they should.
