Stephen A: "maybe Harden gets traded to the Nets, maybe to another team, maybe not traded at all" Spoiler
Amin Elhassan: I’ve talked to some people around Houston. Tilman Fertitta feels very hurt by this. He hired Stephen Silas kind of as an olive branch with the players. He was leaning towards Jeff Van Gundy. They wanted Ty Lue. Ty Lue ends up with the Clippers. They end up with Stephen Silas as kind of the compromise. The players signed off on it and then almost immediately “By the way, trade us.” If that were the case from the beginning, Tilman would have hired the guy he wanted to start with.
JVG wasn’t signing on to be a part of this fckery... I feel sorry for Silas...I genuinely want him to succeed some guys get a sh*tty situation for their 1st job and then it’s a wrap for them when it comes to any future opportunities
Assuming Silas didn't know already, i think it's going to be better for him to work on a rebuild project, i feel like he's going to be perfect for that situation, coaching young guys etc. Contrary to what some people think, i don't think Harden and Westbrook would've give him enough freedom to make significant changes to the system anyway at this point of their careers, but that's just me.
Why is Tilman doing us guy like this? we are fan of rocket team not tilman team so why he diva like us like this?
I do agree that he could do really well coaching a rebuild...it’s 1 of the main things that drew me to him as well as Kenny Atkinson...the ability to coach a team looking to compete as well as 1 in the midst of a rebuild however, with the way this organization is right now and with Tilman, I view this as him basically taking a job with the Knicks...we’re headed towards that caliber of organization I fear for Silas and hope he can overcome all the fckery
We hired a coach who’s a player development guru ,supposedly and you think we are not gearing up for a rebuild!!
