    Harden: PG or SG

Which Position is he suppose to play?

Looking at these reports from last year
    https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2887751-ranking-nbas-top-15-shooting-guards-this-season
BEST SHOOTING GUARD - JAMES HARDEN

    https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2886883-ranking-nbas-top-15-point-guards-this-season
BEST POINT GUARD - LUKA DONCIC

These are from last year. 2019-20 season

Silas was in Dallas last year right?
So . . . if you brought JOHN WALL to Dallas. . .he would have oved Luka to the Shooting guard position?
(IMO DanAndToni made Harden more of a PG than a SG - last year trying to moving him back to SG
was the major mistake - During the CP3 yrs felt like we had two PGs)

    What is James' best position?

He is a better point guard then wall. But Silas wants to make Wall Luka and Harden Tim Hardaway junior

These are the top 10 SGs:
    2. Paul George, Los Angeles Clippers --- This team is dying because they lack a PG
    3. Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards --- This team is dying because Westbrook is their PG
    4. Jrue Holiday, New Orleans Pelicans - No long in N.O. - With the Bucks and is the #3 on that team
    5. Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns - Has Paul a better PG than Booker - but was all ways a gunner
    6. Jaylen Brown, Boston Celtics - Good Player - #2 or #3 player on his team
    7. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City Thunder - Had Paul last year - I dunno if I put him above Mitchell
    8. Donovan Mitchell, Utah Jazz - Scorer - not a playmaker
    9. CJ McCollum, Portland Trail Blazers - Scorer - not a playmaker
    10. Zach LaVine, Chicago Bulls - Scorer - not a playmaker

    I maybe wrong . . .

Which one of them do we prefer Harden play like most?
    Beal, McCollum, Mitchell, Booker, George
most of these guys are gunners. They not looking for too too many assists.

He’s unique just like Lebron. He needs the ball in his hands. He’s not an off ball player. He’s arguably the best playmaker in the league and obviously the best scorer in the league.

Let’s take the ball out of his hands though.

If he’s playing next to Wall, he should be more of a SG, right? Is Harden more capable of playing like a SG, or is Wall?

He's a lead guard who takes the inbound and sets up the offense, either for himself or for teammates.

It's pretty simple honestly. The labels are unneccessary.

Did Lebron play off ball to Rondo?

On this year's team, he needs the ball... But having Wall as your 2 guard is a recipe for disaster... So he has to be SG by default...Which would be fine if he played a SG's game... So either way... What was the question?

This is like putting Wall next to Luka and say you you go off the ball

Whatever he is... 1.7 A:TO ratio for his career is terrible considering his usage.

LeBron plays more off ball than Harden. And we shouldn’t be relegating Wall, to whom we are paying 40 million a year, to a Rajon Rondo role anyway.

He’s a PG; he doesn’t cut or curl or move at all enough behind screens to be a true catch and shoot SG.

I’m beginning to resign myself to the fact that the problem is not sharing the rock it’s we don’t have a strong enough second shooter as our star. This is likely why Paul was more successful than WB or Wall in the pairing. Give Harden Klay Thompson or Curry as his # 2 and we’d likely see a huge difference.

It's a good question OP. Not just Harden either. There is a mess of redundant roles and out-of-place players on this roster, the hole that was cut in the roster to make small ball happen was never going to be rectified in one year. The team needs continue to grow as they slap another band-aid on with John Wall and that's no disrespect to him, he's played beyond what we could've reasonably expected. Harden just doesn't mesh with other ball-handling players and I'd rather have the all-time great doing it than not.

This is the right answer to your question :

    - When Harden is in a shooting slump, you will see the fans in CF bringing his assist number up and keep reminding us he is leading the league in assists.

    - When Harden's TOV is high and giving away easy fast break points, now they will say how great a scorer he is.

    Got it now?

    Option 3 : PF

Tucker should no longer be a starting player.

I want a new 11 man rotation of:

    Wall / Brown
    Eric/ McLeMore
    House /Tate / Nwaba
    Harden / Tucker
    Wood/ Boogie

Maybe switch House and Tate even.
