It's frustrated to see Harden night-in-night-out playing 40+ minutes with injury. Is he dumb or what? Why the heck can't he just rest earlier on?
Believe what you like, but it was apparent yesterday that Harden was under the weather. I posted as much in the first quarter, someone else posted that a number of our guys were sick (and it sounded as though that someone actually knew). Looking from the outside, we can certainly all be wrong, but when the organization rests Harden a day later in a vital home game, it suggests we were not. It's not like they've gone to extreme lengths to rest him before.
It's a shame he has to take a seat during the race to the playoffs but I'd rather him be healthy for the postseason. Glad he can take a breather. Need Lin to step up. Anderson too.
It has nothing to do with the stats. He hasn't been able to finish as well as he has early on. He docent attach near as much as he use to. He's still putting up good numbers but in my view he just doesn't seem the same to me.
Way too many turnovers, but we're knocking down shots and free throws. Clippers kind of flustered and getting dumb fouls. We're looking much better than expected. All starters except Anderson looking good, and Francisco is randomly unconscious. 13 points already!
I think it was just a excuse to say that Smith would help the team out more being a starter without saying "D-mo is hurting us." If the fouls were such a big issue then the only way to fix that is to actually play him and have him learn that way instead of playing less minutes. Either way Smith has played great thus far at PF.
Too bad it comes at the expense of T-Rob. If Smith gets into foul trouble ... who else is physical enough to bang with Griffin ?
