Remember when KD wouldn’t even give us a meeting because he thought MDA was trash? Now he’s with MDA and trying to steal James.
https://www.houstonchronicle.com/te...ets-to-dictate-future-with-James-15730491.php Harden wants to move on from the Rockets, the Chronicle has been informed, and is trying to force his way via trade to Brooklyn, allowing The Beard to form the NBA’s next superteam and rejoin forces with former Oklahoma City teammate Kevin Durant. ESPN first reported Harden’s frustration and interest in Brooklyn.
@Ramo$e Is Houston media trying to sabotage the team and spread lies as well? Everything is actually fine with the organization?
I actually believe this will happen. Tilman is probably licking his lips at the prospect of saving himself 82m a year in salary by releasing Harden and Westbrook. Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if he releases Gordon and Covington and brings in guys on much lower salaries. I'm expecting us to not make the playoffs anytime soon. I'm not sure what the Nets can trade to make this happen, but I think Harden might leave. I feel he's had enough of how badly managed this team has become over the past 2 years.
I mean this is Brian Smith and not Feigen. Smith is a pot stirrer. There’s a difference between asking out and looking around. Hopefully the team holds on for the year. If not it’s the equivalent of trading Hopkins for a second round pick and an overpaid trash RB. It’s definitely possible with this god awful owner.
https://tradenba.com/trades/MN2YjvAn6 Re-unite the whole OKC crew and bring Kyrie down south. **** this
Kyrie will definitely need to moved out in a 3 team deal if Brooklyn wants Harden to work out. Those two will butt heads almost immediately. There's alot of teams that would love Kyrie though so I don't see that as that hard to pull off. If Harden wants out though, the Rockets need to pull the trigger if they can drum out enough market to get an Anthony Davis type of deal out of it. Sucks to think about Harden leaving Houston given how incredible he's been and how loyal he's been, but its the NBA in 2020. You are playing with fire if you don't move your superstar when they feel like they have no avenue for winning there anymore.
Harden nor Westbrook can’t go anywhere for the next two seasons unless the Rockets decide that’s what they want as an organization. Both of them would also have to decline their $47 million player options for the 2022-2023 season, when they will be 33 years old (Westbrook turns 34 that season). The Rockets don’t have to do anything right now, nor should they, unless they get an offer they can’t refuse. After this season, it becomes much more feasible, depending on how Silas does as head coach.
I’m just happy we don’t have BOB as our GM. If you get Ben Simmons and Thybulle back then I’m okay. As much as I love Harden it’s time, he needs a ring, and roster ability to improve is limited because of Fertitta, which is why Morey left. I need to go back to being happy as a young up and coming playoff team because the past couple of years it’s been championship or bust, and we only had a real shot in 2018 b4 the hamstring injury.
Rumors and conjecture. KD had every chance to come to Rockets. Why would Harden save KD now? Harden forcing trade after forcing trade for Westbrook. Seems legit. Houston journalist have no loyalty to Houston they care about clicks.
Well it was fun while it lasted. Enter the LaVert era. Only 20 years before we get another generational talent.
If he trades Harden for less than Ben Simmons, Matisse Thybulle, Josh Richardson and 4 unprotected first round picks ( this should happen next year if we fail this year) I hope he goes bankrupt and loses everything. How did we get stuck with this *******?
