The idea of playing together again came up during Harden and Durant's offseason workouts together in Los Angeles. Sources said the players talked openly about whether the combination could work and how a trade facilitating it could work.

Not sure if BKN has the assets. Hou needs to get a 3rd team involved.

Sell high now on Harden when you can.

The ugly part of having superstars in this league is the dark cloud that comes over a franchise once they become disgruntled. Will Houston cut their losses or are they going to prolong their misery while Hardens value continues to drop?

It remains to be seen with draft night around the corner

You are delusional if you don’t think Harden has leverage if he asks out. Trade me now or lose me for absolutely nothing? If he wants out and they don’t trade him you can expect him to be disgruntled. That would be a terrible move by Tilman that will cripple the franchise for a while.

tilman has already crippled the franchise. No one wants to sign here because of Hardens iso play style and our meddling owner. We can’t cripple ourselves even more by accepting pennies just to get James to the nets. **** that. He can cry in the corner if he wants. He is part of the reason we are in this mess and now he wants to jump ship.

He doesn't have leverage. We get a whole lot of cap if he walks. Tilman might like that better anyway. Nobody cares about disgruntled players they need to grow up and accept the contract they signed or start asking for shorter deals.

Saw this earlier, but how credible are we supposed to take this. Is that just some random poster or inside info from a media person.

I rather take the Kings core for Harden.

Harden and one or two of House/Tucker/Gordon

    For

Bagley, Fox, Barnes and future picks.

Rockets get a good young core to build around, picks and still trade other role players for picks.

Sac makes the playoffs and contends.

I don't know, but i tend to trust someone who rarely posts and doesn't ask for attention (not even a shot at brabra, just saying), and fwiw he was on point about Lucas being supported/wanted by Harden and Russ, he posted that before Stein. I know he also posted about CP3 after he got traded and about Butler before he went to Miami, but i can't remember what he said on those topics.

Why would you think we woulndt get Simmons if Philly was gonna trade with us. Harden is worth WAY more than you would ever think.

It was a nice ride thank you Harden and Morey for
Making Houston Rocket Basketball competitive. It is a players league they decide where and when to make power teams. It was Morey’s Genius to invest in a sixth man Harden who was no where near the player he is now. Morey gave him the green light and D’Antoni supported him in getting to the next level. We just didn’t have the horses in the end to take on arguably the best team ever assembled “Warrior/Durant team”. Then the following year take on the best player in the world and the best 7 footer in the game (LeBron and Davis). Harden go join your super team you deserve it. Time to trust the process.

I don't want him to leave either and still think he has 3 years left of great basketball before he declines. Sometimes you got to think about the future and if he wants out, then we have to honor that
