http://espn.go.com/blog/high-school/california/post/_/id/631/jeremy-lin-and-the-2006-all-state-team The 2006 California HS all state team is pretty impressive. If only we still had Chase... Also - Harden, Lin, Parsons all won HS state titles and earned HS all state and college all conference awards. Hopefully this history of success translates into an NBA championship.
Stanford should have recruited him. Home town boy with lots of fans. Lin would probably have been drafted at least in the second round had he gone to a Division I school.
Stanford really screwed up this one. Could've field a team of Lopez brothers + Landry Fields + Jeremy Lin. Pretty competitive team IMO.
Relax, breathe...Jeremy and Harden will be fine. Leave the drama in Hollywood. http://youtu.be/kPAxGHf5LdA "As a freshman in highschool Jeremy got a 790 out of 800 on his advance math SAT2 subject test, true or false?" The beard says "TRUE" LOL "Earlier this year James inspired a Thunder fan to get a tattoo of his face on his arm, true of false?" Linsanity says "TRUE" Harden's reaction is hilarious.
They were picked to the All State team; doesn't mean they were team mates or played together... And Harvard is a Division I school, just not in a major conference...
Lin's first choice was Stanford. Second choice was UCLA. I think Harvard was his last choice cause he hates East Coast weather. I'm pretty sure he valued his education more than basketball at that time and was strictly going to attend a good academic school and getting into their basketball programs would have been a bonus.
Trust me on this and I dnt know Lin personally but every basketball player who plays d1 basketballs goal is the play professionally. Lin is smart he went to Harvard he could be making 250k plus right now doing something else. He always had his eyes on the NBA and that's why he got cut 3 times and still kept coming back. You can't put a price on what u love and his love is basketball not academics every tho he's extreamly good at both.
Reading this article has made me realize that Cali has been putting out some talent lately, I never noticed.
Wow I never knew that Brook Lopez attended San Joaquin Memorial high school which is like 5 minutes away from me.
