Why are saying my view is the minority view...the league wide narrative is exactly what I am saying, he was unhappy and forced himself out, and he quit on another team.

YOUR view, making all these excuses for him is actually the minority in this case.

Here's the problem with how you looking at this and your workplace anology:

Sure, I can decide to quit a job, but I would never do it by intentionally working half assed, starting rumors, leaking things around the office, and making the workplace so toxic that my bosses had no choice but to fire me. That's what Harden does.

If you really want to quit a job you let your bosses know and you put in your two weeks notice. The equivalent for Harden would have been staying in BKN playing hard, being a leader and then getting traded in the offseason.

Hell, here's a crazy idea, maybe he could have honored his contract and thought that if he just stayed the course everyone could get healthy, Kyrie could play full time as COVID subsides, and he could actually see this through. But no, he made his decision and he pouted his way out of town and quit like a disgruntled employee who can never hold a job because he loses his **** when everything isn't sunshine and rainbows.

Exactly. Every article does talk about how Harden isn't happy, and how Harden doesn't like this or doesn't like that. That's the point. The guy finds ways to be unhappy. That's his reputation around the league.

No spoilers, please. So far through Narcos: Mexico season 2, El Chapo is a dimwitted, affable, ‘nice guy’ character. I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

LeBron quit in Cleveland to go to Miami because he couldn't win in Cleveland.

Then he quit in Cleveland to go to the Lakers because he once again couldn't win in Cleveland.

Or do you only classify quitting as requesting a trade?

    Are there layers to quitting?

Do you think it's ironic LeBron of all people laughing at Harden for quitting?

What I don't find ironic, is you being the supreme source of quitting. When your nickname is regarding Tracy McGrady.

I wouldn't want to be with half assed rockstars that force me to with 2-3x the workload. That's a sucker b**** move you get bamboozled with early in your career or life. When the promise is a fat bonus or IPO, maybe then you hope and pray your diva co-workers will come back all fresh and clean while you're being run ragged.

That said, Harden's rep has hot rock bottom. Dude better hope he can half ass his way to recovery mid season and maybe cut back on the hardcore partying a few games before playoffs. Maybe quit those weekend benders after the 1st rnd chump matchups, stay at home and do some knitting. Deep runs are designed to make you dive up to catch your breath. Partying doesn’t seem to calm the nerves when the stakes are mountain high

I don’t blame Harden for wanting out of Brooklyn. He made the assessment that Durant would continue to be forever injured, and Kyrie might never again full time as long as Covid or anything else was an excuse. He is very much right to think that it would mean he’s alone have to carry a team to the playoffs every year with minimum contract players with a GM that wasn’t as good as finding diamonds in the rough like Pat Bev etc.

I think that last part is a big draw for going to Philly. Morey is a big draw because of what he can do if Embiid gets injured.

But of course making the right call means he’s going to be the unpopular kid at the lunch table for awhile. He’s just gotta put that out of his mind and go ride the Embiid train to a title. This Summer he could do a lot for himself to hire CP3’s dietitian and come back in the fall in the best shape of his life. I think that alone would do a lot for his reputation. I always thought big booty strippers were his source of super soldier serum but it might be time to get a healthier hobby too.

How is he quitting when he is doing a TV segment during his Free agency?

It is poor taste but I do not see quitting when someone is a Free agent.

Lebron did all this because he has absolute control over the NBA and MEDIA lol.

You could view it as quitting but in reality it is one man bullying the whole league!

    Pre-planned, premeditated!

He goes where he wants to go, whatever he wants to do.

Returning to Cleveland was in his plans as was his 2nd exit after a Championship to make Space Jam 2.

The whole Saga about getting his sons to attend school in California......

The difference between Harden's quitting and Lebron's socalled quitting is Harden has NO absolute CONTROL over his legacy while Lebron has. He has to struggle to get to 1 Championship putting himself at the whim of Embiid.

He can only seduce Morey. Harden is a rich rich mofo, but he is not the top guy in terms of control. (You do that when you are the Face of the NBA)

Lebron has never quit on a team mid season and b****ed and moaned until he was traded. He’s always played out seasons before moving on. Very weak comparison.

My name is Tony. T for 3 has nothing to do with McGrady.

Kawhi, LeBron, Durant, Harden, Simmons, Davis, these guys are all cut from the same millenial cloth. If the going gets rough, they force their way to where they can stack the deck.

This is why the NBA kinda sucks recently, or at least 10% of the reason behind the rigged officiating.

He literally won a Championship for Cleveland. Dafuq you mean he couldn’t win in Cleveland. Why even bring up LeBron as a comparison to a loser like Harden?

LeBron got 4 X Championships, 4 X MVPS and 4 X Finals MVPS. What the **** did Harden ever do to be mentioned in the same breathe as LeBron besides sharing the name James? Literally everyone laughs at Harden aside from his fanbois cause the buster is a joke.

Literally everyone you named has at least 1 if not multiple titles except the 2 quitting losers that don’t. Only a reject like Harden can “stack the deck” and still manage to **** it up and fail. Gonna be the same old shiit in Philly.

Lol, from here on out, everyone is like that.

Unless foreigners take over like Giannis or a Curry emerges who got the best team in 30 years behind him.

I honestly believed Kawhi left the Spurs because of some issues that could have been worked out.

But the Spurs were Pop centric and would not budge to any Star demands.

You have something better to offer? I'm not being snarky, I'd really like to know if you can offer someone like him a path to true serenity.
With this one stipulation: it is NOT an NBA Championship.

The Dream would say “Islam", going to a mosque basically.

Not for everyone and obviously the mainstream kind and not political Islam.

Harden is too old to for that, he has to find his own path.

Sometimes settling down and raising a kid with a good, down to earth woman helps too.

Super talented guy but no backbone whatsoever and just a terrible teammate. We'd be still spinning our wheels in the playoffs with anohter couple horrible contracts to deal with if he was still here. Morey will coddle him like a toddler in Philly, and treat him better than the rest of the team. Nothing changes if nothing changes.

When has ben simmons carried a team? Serious question.

BK has a lot of home games left meaning no kyrie and an out of shape simmons. KD is the only one that can save the regular season and get them into the post season. With the way boston and toronto are playing it will be tough to avoid the play in. Anything can happen there.

Excluding the 94-95 title teams, Who are the “Winners” that have played for the Rockets?
    I’ll wait…
