Harden is sometimes so frustrating in late game situations

    Harden always makes me forget why I am down on him. Then the playoffs happen.

    I agree. As a series goes on, the offense gets less and less effective. OKC really blew up their offense and stayed with their game plan. It’s probably going to be more of the same next game.

    My hot take is that other than the really, really awful pass at the end of the game, after he bricked a really deep step back three with 7 or so minutes left in the game Harden actually played really well offensively for the most part down the stretch. He used his ball screens really well, sucked in the defense and helped create a few really good looks that guys just missed.

    He would not. He may have a few years ago, but he's too far gone now. He is (clearly) convinced that an isolation ending in a step back 3 is the way to win basketball games. I don't think there's any coach who would be able to coach that out of him at this point without Harden completely tuning them out.
