Harden is sometimes so frustrating in late game situations

Every single time I'm reading through a thread and I see f choed start chiming in with his annoying, holier than thou, drawn-out, over-played takes... I get nauseous.

Harden clearly was tired.... He drained so much energy trying to beat Dorte one on one that he tired himself out... Then those lazy nauseating habits kicked in ( baiting refs, swiping at balls from behind, not rotating on defense, jogging back in transition after not getting a call) ..... I'm nowhere near a Harden fan boy, but dude was dead tired at the end..... But he coulda sucked it up if he wanted it bad enough!

 

Harden not moving his feet when the balls not in his hands? I don’t believe it.

 

If MDA had done that, there would not have been an overtime. Harden and MDA gambled they could win the game during regulation with him staying in the game...and almost succeeded. Without Harden, it would have been OKC win in regulation. When the regulation game ended tied, I knew the refs would give Harden his sixth foul as the next foul called...and they did. I called it here in my home...I have a witness, my spouse. The game ended just as I thought it would.
I agreed with leaving Harden in with 5 fouls...it was the only way we could possibly win. CP3 knew it too. And he has seen Harden win games with 5 fouls, so he went at him. Leaving Harden in was the only chance we had. As the saying goes, "sometimes you have to go with what you are dealt and pray for the best". That was tonight...the team played badly, they couldn't win it without Harden. The overtime showed that.

Harden choked and there my friends is why he will never be the same as MJ. MJ would never be shut down by a scrub named Dort. Harden appeared to quit when we needed him the most in this game. No D on Paul and no seperation on last play at end of regulation so scrub House had to be the hero and that’s not the player he is so he choked on the game winning free throw. Team had all the calls tonight and still choked. Very disheartening. Small ball will fail in the end run with this group.

 

What Harden brings will never be enough for some people. You will learn to fully tune them out once you realize they will without a doubt not give him credit for a title unless he won it more single handedly than Hakeem himself.

They will be like this even if we are going for a 3-peat.

So it's time to wave bye bye to them because they have become more distorted than opponent fans. Sad really. I can only imagine they are projecting something about themselves onto him.

 

the box score showed harden had decent game. Only 1 turnover and an almost 40 triple double while shooting close to 50% from the field. Yea the 6 fouls killed us. But I’ll take that stat line anyday for the remainder of this series

 

Only 3 games into the playoffs after a near 5 month layoff and ‘drained’ already? If you or anybody else really believes that we’re fooked.

 

Looked at your post history. Did you actually go on vacation while we were winning and then crawled back out of your hole to criticise the second we lost one? Damn sometimes crap like this happens it isn't the end of the world.

 

Lol at this thread, jesus christ the NBA fans don't deserve Harden, and Rockets fans don't deserve the title he will probably bring us (and shoulda brought us in 2018 ).

Harden is so busy trying to get the best of Dort and focused on his 1-1 match ups that he is losing sight, in certain moments, at the bigger picture. It’s clear as day sometimes!

 

True. Most people with a sore shoulder are unable to move their feet too. I think its all connected by the foot shoulder nerve or something but I don't know, I am not a doctor.

 

One thing you forgot to mention is when he did let CP3 run completely past him with 0 resistance and CP3 dished into the corner for a 3 House came over to help Harden's man because he left him wide open. When he came and help it did leave that shooter wide open but Harden began to b**** to House about it. Harden played matador defense on CP3 then gripes at house for helping his man. Yes it was a mistake to leave that guy in the corner for a 3 but that would have never happened if Harden played any defense what so ever that possession. Him complaining to House in that manner he did probably tanks team chemistry.
