You sure it's not just the rest of the world hating the city of Houston because Houston, Tx is the epicenter of everyone's consciousness?

 

I would like Houston to be the epicenter of sports success in recent years instead of Dallas or San Antonio though.

The media would come around if we actually won championships. And won it convincingly.

Agreed. That's the reason why no one cares about Houston and will never take us serious. We NEVER win s***. If I wasn't from here I'd disregard and ignore anything Houston my damn self. Just plain irrelevant in all aspects of the sports world when it comes to winning. That's the freaking media conspiracy that no one here wants to acknowledge but I'm glad someone else sees this

 

We always hung around

JVG: Hung around 4-5th seed
Adelman: 4-6th seed
McHale: 2nd seed once but mostly 6-8th seed
JBB: Just borderline awful

We also had a couple of seasons not making the playoffs but still would end up with the 12th pick or 14th pick

Yea we're the Kings of"hanging around" to the point where everyone is satisfied with not making even one finals appearance in over 20 yrs. As long as Le$ has the 5th best record in the league since his tenure, as Morey loves to brag about, the masses here will continue to say we're a winning franchise who gets overlooked by the media because they hate and envy us lmao.
