Paul George is a much better defender than our Harden, but Harden is superior offensive player in almost every way. I honestly think a healthy Howard is a better center than Hibbert, easily. With this said, which combo would ya'll rather have?

Howard and Harden..duh. Neither George nor Hibbert are superstars. You could very easily argue that both Howard and Harden are.

Howard and Harden. If we people can criticize D12's offensive moves, than just don't even bother with Hibbert. Paul George is probably a cog beneath Kevin Durant in terms of scoring ability. Howard when healthy is a top 3 player in the league who can carry a team to the finals. Harden is undoubtedly going to be the best SG in the league when he hits his prime.

In terms of Paul George and Roy Hibbert, you have an athletic SF and a decent defensive minded Center. No contest.

George may very well be better than Harden next season, but based on last season Harden + Howard

This is a testament to how far the media has beaten down Howard, that he is actually being compared to Roy Hibbert.

Maybe you'd like to follow that up by breaking down whether Hakeem Olajuwon was better than Rik Smits.

Howard/Harden all day not even close Dwight's a top 5 player and hardens already top 10. George and Hibbert do have potential to be top 10 players possibly but there not there yet. IMO George is a very good player with top 10 potential but he has a loner way to go them most think. Hibberts very talented but I just don't see him ever being better then a 16 10 guy over the course of an 82 game season.

Basically the jury's still out in Hibbert and George while know body questions wether dwight or harden are superstar franchise players. The rockets are positioned very nice with harden being only 23 and as good as he is. He will be able to attract star talent and have the rockets relevant for the next 10 yrs.

Players can't say anything about the rockets org at all we spend the money and get the talent. I really think the rockets will be a top FA destination just like Miami NYC LA and Chicago is for te foreseeable future.

I think George will become a superstar very soon, I think he could end up being better than Harden. As for Howard vs Hibbert, it's Howard no contest.

Harden is much better than Paul George.
Howard is much better than Roy Hibbert.

This isn't even a contest. Anyone who would take George/Hibbert is a r****d.

Pacers have us beat on depth, not star power.

It's no contest, between either player. Houston Rockets. Howard is twice as good as Roy Hibbert.

George needs to work on his offensive game to become a superstar.. If he doesn't, he'll be stuck at Iggy's level.

Paul George is just one of those athletic SF that come a dime a dozen. You can argue Rudy Gay, Danny Granger, etc. The league builds them up but they easily fade. You can't replace James Harden with any current player in his position that is not already a future HoF.

    1. The pacers match up well against the Heat. They did well against them last season also

    2. There is more to the Pacers than Hibbert and George. Hill and West come to mind.

I agree George is a better defender than harden BY FAR

but Harden is wayyyyyyyyyyy better on offense. Paul George's inconsistent offensive play in the playoffs cost them the series against the heat

How would you all compare Indiana's entire roster to ours? Are we better? Do we match up better with Miami than they do?

Yes we are better overall. Remember that Indiana, even though they took 3rd seed in the East last season, only had 49 wins, just four more wins than we did, while playing against an easy schedule filled with Leastern Conference opponents.

I don't think Indiana was even much better than us last season. This season it shouldn't be very close.
