Come on guys, lets be honest. I'm pretty sure they've been practicing together for the last few years they've played together.. right? It would only make sense..

What makes it interesting is that these articles are implying that we won last season on pure talent alone and none of it was chemistry. If we are now gaining chemistry look out league. This will be a site to behold. I hope Capella and Dwight will work on some strategies together as well. I'd love Dwight to take a David Robinson role and train Capella.

Sorry, but... the two highest paid players, the supposed stars of a team... should have KNOWN and TAKEN the responsibility of creating chemistry and a team identity from their very 1st practice. It's called leadership, and it's what they're being paid hundreds of millions for.

True star players already know this is their job and responsibility, right from the get go. Magic Johnson knew it, Bird knew it, Isiah Thomas and Joe Dumars knew it, Jordan knew it, Hakeem knew it, Barkley knew it, etc, etc.

Even the true stars of the current era as well. Duncan, Kobe, and Lebron knew it. Durant and Westbrook make the effort to be great every night, so they knew it too.

So my point is that Harden and Howard (especially), should already have known this too. And they should have lived up to it long ago. The fact that they didn't... shows their character as professional players. And it indicates exactly where this team is at, and where it's going.

    That's the unfortunate truth.

I remember a story of Bird in his first pre-season. He first set out to learn all his responsibilities on the court, then set out to learn everyone else's in each set play, so that he knew where everyone would be for his no-look passes! haha

But in fairness to history, Jordan and Hakeem were fockassed mfers out of the gate. Mainly cared about attacking their opponents. Wouldn't use them as an example at equal age to Harden as great chemistry builders.

But if your point is about fockass'd intensity bringing it every night...I totally agree with your list.

Leadership by example. Right on!!! Definitely the missing X-Factor for this team...and I'm looking at you Harden. Howard, meh, learned to have high hopes of that while he was a Laker.

Lin was sleeping on someone's couch not so long ago and Parsons was getting minimum money, they were simple guys, easy to get along when you're a simple dude. When you're a primadona and primadona, it's hard to get along.

Mobley used to take the team to his mom's house for dinner a lot. I still firmly believe that helped Francis a lot. And we can't deny that translated as a bond on the court, as well. But, Shannon Anderson didn't really feel like we had team chemistry on the offensive side of the court. But I think we came to play every night, with defensive intensity, the best we could muster.

I think off-court bonds are nice, but aren't really required. Personality chemistry is not the same as Team Chemistry. Thx Rudy, Cat and Cat's mom for creating a link between the two.

While perhaps purely coincidental, I noticed both of them playing as well off each other as I have all season last night. They had it going with that off the ball action on the strong side. I was shocked that we haven't seen plays like that all year; or for that matter throughout Howards entire tenure here.

Must be hard to run pick n rolls , and either lob it to Dwight or shoot it...This is why I would trade both of their asses...

If it were so easy, DeAndre Jordan would have more than 5.4 FGA/gm, playing with the best PnR PG in the entire NBA.

Statements like that are complete lack of respect to NBA Defenses, especially in this era of no more illegal defense rules. They are a lot of great minds designing ways to stop it. And they do, across the entire league. Howard actually probably gets the most alley-oops in the league.

PnR's (especially with a center who can't shoot) have many ways to defend.

bottomline: If Paul and Jordan did it over and over against us, you would be pissed at our coach for not figuring out a way to defend it.

You didn't see the LAC game? All of Houston is talking about that game as "the first time." But even that wasn't the first time.

Teams should require and have a program for their superstars to build chemistry from day 1 of acquisition. It is none sense that it is only being done now considering they pay their stars millions and millions of dollars.

What Im sayin Spartacus is, that it dont require that much damn practice... Especially as you said "with a center that cant shoot"...Just roll your big ass to the rim... They need to work on backdoor cutting when Dwight or Harden is posting...
