Good thing this is the most valuable leader award. Oh wait,... Give me Kevin Martin & Jordan Hill! At least they're leaders! At least they play hard! We may not win many games but they're good leaders, good players in the community, play hard and someone my kids can look up to!
He's led them to multiple playoff disappointments and the worst shooting of any guard ever to start the playoffs this year. He's being a good cheerleader I guess...
You can't be serious. The Raptors are less talented than the Rockets? The Raptors best 2 players are struggling (historically bad) yet they're still finding a way to win playoff games.
One pretty big excuse could be Harden faced the Warriors. Where as Lowry faced the Pacers. So idk bout you but that's a pretty damn big excuse. Oh... and the fact that Toronto are more talented than the Rockets lmao I was like lmfao
Yes, the Raptors have a much better roster. Lowry > Bev Derozan < Harden Carroll > Ariza Patterson = whoever the **** we have at PF Val > Dwight I'd trade rosters (minus Harden) with them in a heartbeat.
James Harden is going to be mad he didn't get MVP again He's going to be double mad than this season. Expect a better version of Harden next season #Motivation #YeahRight #LMAO
Damn - tired of this forum. So many Harden haters. People coming up with new metrics to determine that Harden isn't an elite scorer or player. Matter of fact - I hope he leaves this team.
Lol. Lowry at the end of his 7th season (where Harden is now) was just leaving the Rockets as a petulant dude just coming into his own as a player, and still maturing and learning to be a leader. He has admitted as much recently. Dump on Harden all you want--he had a rough year and has been selfish / not defending / whatever else. But Lowry is a bad comparison. You can use Lowry to say "look--guys who are still immature after 7 years in the league can still change it up and become real leaders".
Part of being an MVP is being a leader. Lol @ you comparing benchwarmers to an NBA all-star. Lowry's value is measured by much more than just his leadership. His toughness is an unmeasurable trait that counts for far more than his stats. Pair that with his maturity and growth throughout his career and you find him in the Eastern Conference Semifinals today.
Hopefully Harden embarks on such a journey to gain "unmeasureable" traits so that he can someday take the Rockets to a conference semifinal.
