They made their shots. Shot over 40% from 3 and shot well overall. Harden shot 15-28 from the field (over 50%) and over 40% from 3 himself. In crunch time with around an 8-10 point game and the Rockets regaining momentum the refs took the ball away from Harden twice on bogus offensive fouls and once where he drove and they called a foul but didn't give him continuation and the side out of bounds turned into a turnover by one of the guys on the wings that can't handle the ball.
Defense was bad. Interior defense was acceptable, perimeter defense was below zero. Even still, Austin Rivers won't usually shoot like he did, even on open shots. But that's been happening way too much to us recently. It's obviously partially self-inflicted.
You are comparing champions to harden....they know how to focus. What they do or say to the ref has no affect on them the rest of the game. You are not getting the point,Its not about chewing out the refs, its about letting a negative create another negative and so on. . He cant shut it out like those ppl u just mentioned.
Just to clarify...i dont blame the last 2 losses on harden at all. He was actually the only player out their giving a damn. MDA was outcoached in both games too. But this is a problem that stems from 2016,for me it happens alot. Its not a flaw but its something I think he should work on because i have seen it affect him many times in the past. Thats usually when his TOs start piling up trying to goat the ref into a make up call or trying to do too much.
if harden was on gsw instead of kd he'll be a champ now while kd would have demanded a trade already LOL so who can shut it out? which superstar has never complained about officiating and how many time has harden publicly complained about officiating?
The proof that that they can focus and win a title and harden can’t is simply that they won a title. If harden wins a title this year it will prove he can focus right?

No, it has nothing to with titles, even though its what i said. What i meant is they dont carry that over into the next play and the next play and the one after. You can agree to disagree but ive seen it happen to harden alot. You guys are taking it as if iam talking about this specific complaint. Iam NOT everyone complains about the refs they have been horrendous, he got screwed over, we got screwed over the refs were horrible. That pg who was guarding harden should have been sent out after picking up his 6th foul and they instead gave it to lou. Iam fine with his airing out hsi frustration publicly and i never said otherwise. My observation is a general one that ive seen happen and hope he can fix because i personally think thats his biggest flaw.
Why is it that you can't just admit that Harden got frustrated and unraveled the last few minutes of that game while it was still in play? The guy missed his shots and he turned it over. Not all the calls were ticky tack. Is Harden the only player to ever get frustrated? Of course not. Does this mean he can't win a ring? No one is saying that. It's pretty simple. He did play phenomenal until he got upset and started arguing with the refs and then went into full choke mode. Does he have a right to do that? Sure. Do I have a right to say that hurt us more than the refs calls? Absolutely.
